Southampton v Man City team news: Dias returns in Guardiola’s only change

The final Premier League match of the day sees Southampton play host to Manchester City.

Kick-off at the St Mary’s Stadium is at 17:30 GMT.

Pep Guardiola has kept his tinkering to a minimum for the Saturday night match, with Ruben Dias replacing John Stones in his one and only change from the side that defeated Chelsea last weekend.

Ralph Hasenhuttl make three alterations following Southampton’s defeat at Wolves, with Kyle Walker-Peters, Stuart Armstong and Che Adams coming into the side.

Lyanco, Nathan Tella and Ibrahima Diallo make way for the hosts as the Saints’ head coach seemingly returns to his trusty 4-2-2-2 set-up after a dalliance with a wing-back system in recent weeks.

Most of the interest from a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) perspective focuses on City assets, unsurprisingly, with the ownership figures within the top 10k (taken from LiveFPL) listed below:

Armando Broja is owned by not far off 8% of managers in the top 10k but 95% of those bosses have benched him this week.

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo, Rodri, Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Grealish, Foden.

Iv had a horror show since December, 34k to 360k.

Back to 280k after today so am happy tonight. This game is so tough and depressing sometimes in all honestly that a good wk feels great when it happens.

There's something that permanetly stinks about Watford.

Broja and Ward Prowse are mint, but the unsung fighters protecting the defence in both teams are the folk I want to be in the trenches with.
These players from these teams are fixture proof.
        Absolute class pro's.

Anyone facing logging into FPL via the website?

I've received over 15-20 mails saying password reset when I haven't even requested it.

I've changed the password but I'm not able to login into the website. App worked fine, but app isn't allowing me to change my email.

    Someone please help.

I've seen a fair few mentions of this happening to people tonight across various social medias. Seems to be a pretty widespread attack.

Make sure your password is strong and unique, then report the issue to FPL - not sure there's much else you can do unfortunately. Fingers crossed it's nothing too sinister for you

Match ended hours ago but wanted to wait to post. On the Villa/Everton broadcast here in the States, Jon Champion, in not so many words, blamed Villa’s goal celebration for the bottles thrown at them from the Everton crowd. Basically said they were asking for it by celebrating in front of opposing fans. Is it too much to ask people in the crowd to not act like animals?

    What say y’all?

How is that “antagonizing”? And even if it was explicit antagonizing players shouldn’t be pelted with bottles, etc. Total BS behavior

          Agree 100%

Celebrating in front of your fans is less likely to cause trouble than going in front of opposition fans. Repeat still absolutely no excuse for them reacting in that way.

I've got Gray... He is my 5th mid. Prob move him to Ramsey to be honest. Free up some cash.

Or if I sell Ronaldo, might up him and play 3-5-2 with King moving to the bench.

Nope, turned my back on NFL over 7 years ago (nothing to do with politics- had been bored with game for many years and find most NFL fans here to be insufferable). However, I live in the hometown of Aaron Rodgers. Before Rodgers went pro it was mostly Niner fans with a solid minority of Raider fans. When Rodgers went to GB a huge chunk of town went green & gold. Said flipfloppers love to insist that they’ve been Packers fans forever. If the Packers play Tennessee in Super Bowl Chico will be represented on both teams

The beginning of the end for me with NFL was the 4 years in which we lived in Austin, TX in 90s. The loathsome Cowboys won the Super Bowl 3 of those 4 years. And the only thing worse than a Dallas Cowboys fan is a Dallas Cowboys fan when they win

Not particularly - but I never really thought anyone would bother screwing with peoples FPL teams.

Naive I guess. Password overhaul incoming but I’m still hoping FPL can roll back the changes.

That is really bad, you seem to be one of the unlucky ones (a growing number).

I would say: don't blame yourself. We're in victim-blaming territory here, same as when someone has a bike stolen and they say you should have had a better lock.

Erm, it's the thieves who need to face the opprobrium, not the theived

Easy one, if someone bumps into you on the tube/in the street/in the lift etc, give it an affronted: "Good sir, you have my opprobrium!"
Could get all three done that way before breakfast, probably
