Everton v West Ham team news: £4.0m Emerson benched

Gameweek 8 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) concludes this afternoon, with Everton v West Ham United getting underway at 14:15 BST.

Frank Lampard makes two changes to the side that drew 0-0 with Liverpool in Gameweek 6.

Asmir Begovic comes in for the injured Jordan Pickford, while new signing Idrissa Gana Gueye replaces Tom Davies in midfield.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, however, fails to make the matchday squad.

As for the visitors, David Moyes makes one change, which sees Aaron Cresswell start at left-back.

That means £4.0m defender Emerson Palmieri drops to the bench.

        That's a bit unfair in this situation.

        I didn't big up Emerson much at all. He was in my team for a while but after the Conference League game and the predicted lineups came out it made sense to switch.

        I don't care what people think. I will make decisions and change my mind if I think it's better for the team. Information is dynamic after all and what may seem like a reasonable pick at one time might not be after a game or a piece of info leaks.

      Looking on fixtures it would make sense to take Saka out, but Bowen is just not running yet (he had a slow start last season too) and Saka could also score vs Spurs or Liverpool. Depends a bit how many other Ars you have

        Either way, I am looking at Zaha, but it will be for Martinelli most likely. Not sure how I’d fund it without going Jesus > 7.5m or KdB > Foden (but with Gw 12 blank not worth it)
