Thursday team news: Bailey + Bamford start, Cash + Rodrigo benched

Gameweek 12 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) reaches its conclusion tonight, with Fulham v Aston Villa getting us underway at 19:30 BST. Leicester City v Leeds United follows at 20:15 BST.

During the second half of the match at the King Power Stadium, Andy and Mark will be live over on our YouTube channel for their weekly Members’ video – and you can watch it via the embedded video below:

As for the team news, Fulham boss Marco Silva makes just one change from the side that drew 2-2 with Bournemouth in Gameweek 11, as Willian replaces Daniel James.

That means Andreas Pereira and Aleksandar Mitrovic start, with their FPL ownerships sitting at 25.2% and 24.8% respectively.

Steven Gerrard also makes one alteration for the visitors, with Jan Bednarek handed a full debut. Matty Cash is the player who drops to the bench, with Ezri Konsa potentially filling the vacated right-back role.

Philippe Coutinho and Emiliano Buendia are substitutes for the second week in a row.

In the later kick-off, Brendan Rodgers makes two changes to the side that drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace in Gameweek 11.

Dennis Praet comes in for the suspended James Maddison, while Jamie Vardy is preferred to Patson Daka.

As for Leeds, Patrick Bamford starts after coming off the bench at half-time against Arsenal. Diego Llorente, Junior Firpo and Crysencio Summerville also make the XI, with Jack Harrison and Rodrigo among those who drop to the bench.

Pascal Struijk was carrying a knock and misses out.

      I think I would prefer Odegaard or Zaha to Bowen. Maybe Antony or Sancho from this GW or with a FT next or the following GW. Otherwise, looks great

        Oh I see, Ramsdale means no Odegaard. Well, I don't see the need to spend on Ramsdale, so I would still prefer Odegaard plus a different keeper (or one of the other options)

      Nice team. If you have already considered Zaha and chose Bowen, then its good to go.

      Personally, I would take Raya as the second keeper and keep some money in the bank.

        I actually owned Zaha before wildcarding and I'm going for Bowen with those home fixtures. Don't fancy Zaha away whereas Bowen gets most of his points at home

          I see. Nothing against Bowen. So many mids now in the game. Bowen, Zaha, Foden, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli. Difficult to choose the best 4/5. All about rolling the dice.

          On second thought, reconsider Ramsdale irrespective of money. Blocks one valuable Arsenal outfield spot.

      Watching Pool yesterday, it was clear Salah would not be having the same impact if they persist with both Firmino and Nunez upfront with the new formation/tactic. I also have him and also not sure about him tbh.

            Think if u have Kdb, u keep. He was really good early on in the season but watched his.last game and he was showing a bit of lack of sharpness with his shots, even passes. Maybe due to fatigue and age but he would have a 1 week off so should be fine for at least Brighton.

        Yes, that's the thing. But it is difficult to sell a Liverpool player before a Forest game. Maybe, I should save the FT and use 2FT to sell Salah and buy Cancelo. Also, Toney is on 4 yellow cards, saving FT may become helpful.

          Obviously if they start him upfront against NFO he may get a huge haul but Foden and particularly Saka look really good as well going forward.

            Agree completely. Firmino and Nunez are blocking Salah points. If he starts upfront against NFO, which he can very well do, then its a different story.
