Six down, one to go: the final Premier League match of the day sees fourth-place Newcastle United play host to fourth-bottom West Ham United.

Kick-off at St James’ Park is at 17:30 GMT.

Eddie Howe tends not to make too many changes to his high-flying Newcastle side but he’s forced into one this evening, with Bruno Guimaraes suspended.

Allan Saint-Maximin is the man chosen to replace him: the Frenchman makes his first Premier League start in just over five months.

New signing Anthony Gordon is among the substitutes but Alexander Isak is absent after being concussed in the midweek cup tie against Southampton.

Miguel Almiron, the most-sold Fantasy Premier League (FPL) midfielder of Gameweek 22, starts again.

West Ham also only make one change from their last Premier League XI, and it too is an enforced one: Thilo Kehrer is in for the injured Kurt Zouma at centre-half.

New signing Danny Ings makes the bench after recovering from injury.

GAMEWEEK 22 LINE-UPS

West Ham United XI: West Ham: Fabianski, Kehrer, Ogbonna, Aguerd, Coufal, Lucas Paqueta, Rice, Emerson Palmieri, Bowen, Benrahma, Antonio.

        Genuinely feel for you

Should be NEW CSs up till the blank then we re-double/re-triple only for them to start conceding one a game again

This isn't part of the script

        **Started with Ward/Iversen

**Switched to Pope just a the moment Newcastle started conceding one a game and Almiron kicked on

**Kepa since the WC, but Almiron over a second NEW defender

Might be time to get rid of Almiron. Think he just wanted to prove a point to Grealish and now he's done that

Have you watched the videos as opposed to just seeing the still, he essentially and briefly gently grabs him by his collar

Following that Ayew comings steaming in and grabs Fred by his throat more aggressively

        Poor refereeing all round

          No collar for palace jersey.
And you know you would be in trouble if you put your hand in someone throat, let alone both hands.

I thought that the video shows that it wasn’t ‘violent’ he wasn’t trying to strangle him. However the sad truth is that because he has both hands around the neck area it is always going to be ruled violent conduct. If he would have placed his right hand on the shoulder instead of the collarbone then he would have been fine.

I've only seen vid below, you've prob seen better replays. If that's a red card then it's an extremely harsh rule and ref should be using his own discretion. Not even low level handbags.

That’s not available in my country unfortunately but I searched ‘Casemiro red card’ on Twitter and there’s a few different angles, him and Will Hughes even cuddled and laughed afterwards

Palace fan here. Red all day long. You can't raise your hands like that to the Face/throat , just like Hughes can't raise his hand in the box even if he is 3 yards away because it is not by his side or behind his back. Those are the rules and i don't agree with them either, but it is a red.

Hi mate, thanks for commenting… rules are rules you’re right… however it’s harsh and should be open to interpretation just like a handball or foul

Would you say Ayew should been sent off for grabbing Fred’s throat?

You think Akanji better option than Ake?

Yes. Ake fill cancelo spot. Stones out
CB spot is less competition at the moment.

My pov. Ake slotted in LB. Gomez didnt get pep trust. Laporte can play there.
      Stones dead.
CB slot is not so fierce anymore because of Cancelo effect.
      Akanji over ake for me.

City fixtures even beyond the dgw scream attacking points, leaning towards triple up for a -4
Bruno, Andreas, Mitro to KDB Mahrez + Greenwood

Not to keen on Fulham attacking wise as others Wolves and Forest are decent ish now and then its mostly crap fixtures

    Kepa
    Schar Trippier White
    Mahrez KDB Rashford Martinelli Saka
    Haaland Kane

    Ward Shaw Greenwood Paterson

2FT for week 25 to field 10 /11 seems fine

Agree. 2 attacking City players is enough. Foden was my third for 3 GW's. The return was 3 points

Absolutely. If its Arsenal, I would be very happy to fill all 3 slots in attacking area. Nketiah, saka ode without hesitation.

Yep its possible - need to think about it

I have an alternative of just playing Mitrovic and using 1FT of Bruno to KDB and rolling to have 2FT in 24 and be 4 points up

I could i guess do the easier move the 2nd FT of Schar to Ake for the dgw which gives me 2 extra fixtures between 23-25 for Ake over Schar. Although i like Schar longterm

Trying to calm the situation down.

      Helping Hughes from falling down.

As soon as he noticed his hands were not at the right place, moved them down.

They both had a laugh at the end.

      Hughes falling down?
Casemiro put force on it, look at bottom body of hughes carefully. He want to stand up straight.

Exactly this Casamero had two hands on Hughes, Fred, and Ayew had one hand on each and wasn't spotted. It was a red card. They are just honest and competitive footballers

Talk of Salah "needing someone to play with"

    Unpopular opinion

Had he been a touch less greedy on the pitch (and arguably off it as well), then Mane may have been more inclined to stay

Its a natural end to a peak cycle - he will be decent but not top 3 world elite again - ditto Liverpool

Liverpool really did some elite business to have that front 3 for so cheap for past half decade and people need to adjust to the fact that them buying replacements who will be top 5 in their position of the next 5 years is about 1%.

Mane and Salah level over the past 5 years is only beatable by Ronaldo and Messi - good luck any club being able to predict and buy a two top 5 world level attackers even with unlimited budgets

yes, they did extremely well to obtain Mane/Salah/Firmino/Robertson/Trent(academy) in the circumstances

At some point the money side will dictate and win out

Is it worth holding Mitro after next week?
Which striker is worth buying? Have Haaland and Kane.
Have 3 ARS so can't get Nketia. Is Toney has a blank coming...

He's had his four tough games. I'd keep Mitro now, at least until a clear replacement (like a nailed Iheanacho) shows up

I have 2FTS and not sure how to use the 2nd

Would you guys do Schar to City defender (up to 5.5mil) ? to get 3 City

Schar will have 3 games to City defender maybe having 5
