Newcastle United’s trip to Bournemouth rounds off the day’s Premier League action, with the match on the south coast getting underway at 17:30 GMT.

After the rather underwhelming set of points on offer in the earlier kick-offs, Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will be hoping for better fortunes – chiefly from the visitors’ defenders – in the late game.

Eddie Howe tends not to make too many changes to his Newcastle side and indeed his only alteration this evening is enforced.

Callum Wilson is injured, so Alexander Isak is recalled up top.

Gary O’Neil makes two changes to the Bournemouth XI that started the narrow defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion in Gameweek 22.

Jack Stephens and Dominic Solanke are both back from injury, replacing Chris Mepham and Antoine Semenyo.

GAMEWEEK 23 LINE-UPS

Bournemouth XI: Neto, A Smith, Stephens, Senesi, Zemura, Outtara, Billing, Lerma, Anthony, Traore, Solanke.

Subs: Travers, Fredericks, Mepham, Christie, Rothwell, Tavernier, Vina, Moore, Semenyo.

Newcastle United XI: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn, Longstaff, Willock, Joelinton, Almiron, Saint-Maximin, Isak.

Subs: Dubravka, Dummett, Gordon, Ritchie, Lewis, Fraser, Murphy, Anderson, Miley.

I’m beginning to doubt the wisdom of chasing the DGW’s. This week I wanted Madders but instead sold Toney to accommodate Nketiah. I’m now looking at the future DGW’s and finding my gut instincts are at odds with the players who need to be in the team because they’re playing twice. You could argue Rashford being great DGW value but even there, despite my instincts telling me to TC instead I used my WC to prepare for this DGW and wk25. Tactically it’s likely they’ve been the wrong calls.

I felt the same, so didnt chase any new dgw players instead banked the ft, so i can plan for bgw. so far so good, apart from raya on my bench and kepa just giving me 2pts

Glad it’s worked so far for you. It’s certainly making me think of changing the way I approach the game. It’s not the first season I’ve fallen into this trap, it’s quite common.

What a day. Zero returns from 6 players and I took out almiron this week 🙁

Bit random but how likely is Ederson to outscore 7 points across 2 games?

Need to justify the -4 for him over Ward 😀

Newcastle sloppy and look tired the last few weeks. Without Bruno G our midfield struggles. Having said that we're somehow top four at the minute and have a cup final in a few weeks. Completely exceeding expectations this season.

Easy to forget that the squad is still very shallow. Eddie Howe done a marvelous job . Expectations should be managed.

Literally did Toney and Almiron to Nketiah and Mahrez which was the easiest best obvious decision and this happened...

Maybe but difficult fixtures and a blank, thinking I will consolidate with Trippier and maybe swap Botman out. Tarkowski or Kilman possibly.

Banned for one more game and then back for the league cup final. Him not being their disrupts the positioning and interplay of Joelinton, Longstaff and Willock. Willock has looked lost the last few games and Joelinton sat in front of the back four doesn't work.

Not sure what to do with pope now, got ward to cover in gw25 and FT’s are valuable but not too keen on double newc defence
