With the line-up changing more frequently than Nottingham Forest’s centre-half pairing, it’s time for another exclusive video for Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout.

Andy North is back from his own hiatus, while Burning Questions co-host Pras steps up to the guest seat in the absence of the ill Mark Sutherns.

The pair will be chatting over on our YouTube channel about their own teams and how they’re approaching Blank/Double Gameweek 25 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

Are they backing Bukayo Saka (£8.4m) or Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) as captain? How many Liverpool players are they going for? And will Andy go further than the ‘-4’ he already took in midweek?

The future Blank and Double Gameweeks will no doubt also be on the agenda, with a dozen doublers in Gameweek 29 now factored into the chip strategy thinking.

Andy and Pras are live from 20:45 GMT, with the stream watchable via the embedded video below.

And if you’ve missed the start or indeed the whole of the live broadcast, you can of course still watch the stream back from the start in its entirety.

Only Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout will be able to watch the video below, so make sure you sign up today to get access to not just this stream but also exclusive YouTube content from Andy, Mark and others throughout the 2022/23 campaign.

I'm not sure you can really refer to Barcelona, at their peak, when they were beating Man U in Champions League Finals as your bogey team. They were simply the best team in the world.

Sure you can. They were each on pretty much the same level, Euro giants, but Barca kept getting the best of them. And those wins prevented Man U from even greater heights. Beating them is more fulfilling than beating Liverpool or City. Oh how I despise them.

No bogey teams are like when Arsene Wenger's Arsenal kept losing to Bolton Wanderers, not losing to the best team in the world. If that was the case half the teams in the Champions League could call Barca their 'bogey team'.

Then maybe I misunderstood the term. I always considered it "a team you simply cannot beat very often and they beat you virtually all the time no matter what". Not "divided by gulfs in skill, yet the superior team on paper always loses to the weaker one".

No I think it comes from the term bogey man like someone you're scared of but shouldn't be. As such bogey teams are always ones you expect to beat but then become inexplicably worried by.

Looks like we may both be correct.

"Most football clubs have a bogey team, *meaning a team that either always beats them or against which they habitually enjoy bad luck*"

That definition doesn't mention wide differences in talent.

                    But this definition does:
"Bogey team is British sports slang for a team which usually manages to win despite an apparent weakness."

Toiling to decide what to do, mainly because of Mitrovic uncertainty and a lack of forward options beneath 6.8. 2.0 ITB. Thoughts?

        A. Ake & KDB to Robertson & Salah -4 (will have 10 if Mitrovic doesn't play).
        B. Shaw & KDB to Robertson & Salah -4 (James first sub to come in if Mitrovic doesn't play).
        C. White, KDB & Mitrovic to Matip, Salah & Nketiah -8 (if Gomez confirmed as out).
        D. Ake, KDB & Mitrovic to TAA, Salah & Mbeumo -8 (10 men this week but setting up for double 27 / 29).
        E. Ward & KDB to Alisson & Salah -4 (Bench Kepa but 10 men if Mitrovic doesn't play)
        F. Others suggestions?

"A settlement also has to be reached between De Jong and Barcelona on the €17m in deferred wages. Barcelona made an initial offer to try and resolve the matter, as reported by The Independent last week, but that was still over €10m less than what De Jong is owed. Unsurprisingly, it was rejected."

Reading that I'm still not sure how those two things are connected. Barca accepted an offer from Man U but De Jong never negotiated personal terms with them and at the same time Barca were trying to get him to agree to a lower sum for the wages he was owed.

At no point did he indicate that he wanted to leave Barcelona for Man U when he would have gotten a sizeable transfer fee and a large wage increase. So not really sure why you think he's only motivated by money.

The OP says De Jong "rejected" a move. We're discussing why and it seemed clear from the get-go that it was ALL about those deferred wages.

Players' first motivation is always money, followed by "winning" and then "childhood dreams of playing for Team X". They only have a short time to generate income as pros so its the primary motivation round the globe in every sport. Not many players ever forego "more money" for any other reason to play elsewhere unless they're old and past it.

De Jong was owed millions, did Barca a huge favor by deferring, and they were trying to get out of not paying him as much as he was owed. By agreeing to taking less money to leave, he'd be leaving quite a lot on the table.

                    1. Bartowski

Well the reports at the time were that Man U would double his wages and provide a large signing on fee. So together with Barca's settlement offer he would indeed have made more money.

At no point have you provided any evidence whatsoever that 'it seemed clear from the get-go that it was ALL about those deferred wages.' Everything else you've written appear to be huge generalisations based on absolutely nothing with regards to De Jong.

As I said there are no reports he opened up negotiations with Man U so clearly it's not quite as clear cut as you and the OP, who lets be honest are both biased being Man U supporters, have set out.

I have no dog in this fight. De Jong can stay in Barcelona for his entire career and I wouldn't care. I can be unbiased as a fan, something that seems to elude many.

I followed his potential transfer story very closely when it was ongoing, maybe you did - or didn't. He never once stated "I don't want to play for Man U", but rather "I want to stay at Barca". This was after them coming off a poor season too, so if he was all about "winning" why stay? There were plenty of suitors that were better than Barca AND Man U at the time.

You saw the details about the deferred wages and that was constantly being brought up as THE reason the transfer wasn't happening by writers who reported on it daily. Maybe they're all wrong. I don't know what else to tell you, there's countless articles on it if you care to look.

Maybe he would have made more in wages on a new Man U deal this season and over the course of the whole new contract, but he was going to leave a massive chunk behind (17 million Euros!) if he left Spain for England without negotiating it with the club before he left. As you saw, Barca offered him 10 mill as a compromise and he said "No."

Just to show how committed he is to staying, there's new stories saying he hates Xavi and will depart this summer...if he leaves, and finally has his deferred wages paid back, what will you say then?

Well I already explained why he would want to stay at Barcelona in my initial reply and you set out to essentially characterise him as greedy, because you're annoyed he rejected Manchester United.

I did follow the story, the deferred wages was never brought up, what was brought up was he didn't want to go to Man United who you seem to have completely forgotten finished outside the champions league and were on a downward spiral for the past decade. You forgetting this makes it even odder that you talk about Barca coming off a poor season.

I know of no other suitors for him, him saying he wanted to stay at Barca only proves what I said previously. Why on earth would he come out and say "I don't want to play for Man U?" and increase the tabloid attention on him. Players are trained on how to deal with the media, they don't talk like Donald Trump. And I don't care about made up tabloid garbage looking to get hits because they know De Jong news will generate traffic to their site.

                Well there is that.
But don’t they have good kebabs and brutal winters in Manchester?

Nothing against De Jong, if he wasn't interested in United fair enough, he was already at a great club. Good luck to him.

Guys, I'm 0,3 short of Bruno--Salah, so a hit is coming:
            a) Kane - Darwin
            b) Mitro - Iheanacho
            c) ??

            My team:
            1FT, 2.6 itb
            Ederson, Ward
            Tarkowski*, Gabriel*, Trippier, Bueno*, Patterson*

            Two options I'm considering:

            A. Kane/Martinelli/Shaw to Watkins/Saka/TAA (-8)
            B. Shaw/James to Robbo/Tark (-4)

A bit worried about missing out on Saka the next few weeks and pretty much need to sell Kane to fund Saka.

Team today (open to other ideas) 1FT, 0.5ITB:
            Ederson
            Bueno, Shaw*, James, White
            Salah, Andreas, Martinelli
            Kane, Nketiah, Haaland

            Ward, Rashford, Mitoma, Trippier

Can't decide on this - already on -4 and would need another hit so probably going to keep Mahrez... minutes are a worry, kind of the same for Gakpo but at least he has a double.

Kane in one game could outscore Darwin in 2, Liverpool dodgy defensively and I’d want Trippier back next week so A out of those options
