It was not based on a question of me wanting to get him, just curious as to where he will fit in.

Could play RW, arguably his best position, with Sterling moved over to his favoured position on the left. Could also play in the hole over Gallagher.

He's a really good player, and would add quality depth for many years to come in positions Chelsea are light in.

      Probably where Chuka was playing.

Doubt he’s leaving Citys bench for Chelsea’s.

Yeah, short term that may be where he plays. Sometimes Enzo/Gallagher though.

    Areola
    Gvardiol / Gusto / Chilwell
    Bowen (c) / Maddison / Saka / Sterling
    Haaland / Alvarez / Wissa

    Leno / Diaby / Trippier / Cash

My WC team, think I’m more or less settled now. Correct starting squad?

Bowen (c) worth the punt? Money in the bank to switch him to Bruno next week.

Yeah, Bowen alone might be differential enough.

I had bad experiences going against Haaland last season too. (Missed captaining a hattrick.)

Yep exactly. Bowen is just 0.2% owned among Elite players so just owning him is a huge differential.

Good team however I am not fan of planning transfers on wc. My transfer plans always get messed up somehow.
I wouldn't get cash though. Suggest watching FPL mate on YouTube. His last 2 videos explain why to avoid him

I know planning a transfer is frowned upon, but I need to take that Bowen punt. Rightly or wrongly, it’s just how I play.

Will look into Cash though, if he’s a minutes risk, Udogie will be an easy replacement.

Can't argue against how you like to play.
Good luck. Team is almost identical to what I would want on wc bar Cash and Gusto (Udogie and Henry would be my choices)

Looks good if you don't mind the benching headache that squad is going to give you week in week out. I'm guessing that you are off to a poor start given the early WC so Bowen could be with a punt if you won't mind the risk of not captaining Haaland.

Relatively poor start, currently 2M rank.

I just saw a number of moves I wanted to make and decided to take the risk of going too early. Had success going early with WC in the past.

      Play Leno every week.
      James could be back gw5
Captain Haaland against the worst defence in the league at home.
Alvarez will be benched gw5 so you’ll be playing Diaby over a decent defence or getting a point off the bench.
      Gvardiol is risky.
Apart from that it looks great.

      1. Scots Gooner

Areola has been solid, rotates beautifully with Leno too.

Gusto can be relegated to the bench as soon as James is back. Got the likes to Trippier ready to slot in.

Might captain Haaland still, just love a punt.

If Alvarez is benched, Diaby isn’t a bad one off the bench. Trippier, Gusto or Udogie/or Cash will be other options if needed.

Any Man City is risky in fairness.

          Very similar WC to mine.

Only notable difference I have is Ederson & Udogie instead of Leno & Gvardiol.

Only worry is no Foden, just have to hope Alvarez covers him.

May downgrade Wissa as don't know when I would actually play him - any idea when you would or do you just want him as back up?

I have him, its crossed my mind. I haven't looked in to Bowens returns much, and its only a small sample, but he only returned when away so far. Pedro has to go for Jackson, I need to sell a 9.0 mid to fund this. I'm thinking keep Son for the next two and sell Rashford? Only 0.3m leeway hence want to catch the rises..

Haven't seen any rumour, assume it is just normal EFL cup rotation, Chelsea should be very very comfortable looking at the bookies odds!

Do find nearly 10% of the game bringing him in already a bit bizarre though, especially when we've already had a few major close to deadline news (James injury came out on Thursday on Twitter, Maddison being fit came out day before etc) and the reduced importance of price changes this season

Joao Palhinha wants to join Bayern which would be disasterous for Fulham.

Because he is a DM and there are loads of more attacking options in midfield. Yes he has scored a couple of goals but I don't see this carrying on.

His role has changed Kovacic coming in with KDB and Gundogan gone. DM's don't have 5 shots from the edge of the box in one game.
