This evening we roll out the final part of our series of Projections articles for the season ahead. Having already assessed the Keepers, Defenders and the Midfielders, it’s finally time to start searching for value up front.

With the aid of our freshly Projections, we’ve analysed the average points expected per player over the course of the upcoming campaign and, applying this to the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player price list, have listed the top ten in terms of expected value per Fantasy pound for the season ahead…

    Hope you don't mind, I'm just doing a little recruitment drive for my league ; FFS Old Farts Club.
    If you're 35 + and regular poster please feel free to join! Put your FFS user name into the league forum please, I have posted a list there already.
    Already recruited ; CatMac, Doosra, 4 Vets, King Eric, Shipson Trev, Rebel Dog.
    Three others I don't know are ; Padraig Marley, Peter Murphy, Stephen Tucker (so if any of you guys are on atm, please let me know your FFS user name as I would like to keep it to people I know)

          No, no ... the Deadzoners league, by EX or Max - can't keep them straight. Link was offered on the UEFA site, I asked and got permission and then was dropped.

          I can't really care too much about the league, but the incompetency and idiocy makes me feel ambushed.

    Out Olympic team is called "Great Britain & Northern Ireland" because Ireland wanted a mention in the title. This is why we are referred to as "Team GB" rather than just GB. We should really be called the United Kingdom.

      But included in Team GB are residents of the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and some other Crown dependencies, which are not part of the United Kingdom (of Great Britain and Northern Ireland)

      No-one's asking for them to be part of the name, but their athletes (notably Cavendish) compete as part of Team GB, I think the Irish can live with that

    Aguero v Tevez

    So many folk seem to think it's a straight choice without considering the options an extra £2.5m gets you elsewhere....

    A) Tevez and Hart or B) Aguero and Federici
    A) Tevez and Cole/Ivan/Lescott or B) Aguero and Fonte
    A) Tevez and Kagawa or B) Aguero and Noble

    If I asked any of these individualy I suspect I would get mostly A answers...

      I like the idea of starting with Aguero AND Tevez, and dropping one fairly early on. What I can;t bear is picking Aguero and then having Tevez explode early. One can still pick a decent team with Tevez, Aguero, and Torres up front, then switch to Rooney and (perhpas in GW4) decide whether to downgrade Tevez.

        Cheers both, I had B before I started tinkering. Offers more exciting MUN/MCI defense with Vidic/Lescott. The 3 way rotation looks decent with WHU/SOT/SUN but the extra big defender hinders my mid a bit..

        Dyer isnt nailed on in my team. I am weighing up between Dyer, McAnuff and Ireland. Just an indication as to what sort of quality in midfield could be afforded in both options.

        I am open to Petric, but if any of the cheap Fulham players look like playing then I could have them over Dyer.

    - If Dawson becomes captain surely your captain plays every game so 1st choice, will switch him out if he isnt given captaincy
    - Which Swan def. do you think is best given they are all 5.0? Or any other suggestions for my 5.0?
    - 4.0 who will rarely play, not decided who yet
    - Kacaniklic will largely just be bench fodder
    - I know Noble is a decent pic but I dont like him cos cant see many points at all bar spot kicks, maybe will have Maloney instead, or any other 5.0 suggestions?
    - Maybe Petric or Maiga instead of Graham, will see

    Evening lads. Just got back from OT, went to watch the USA v Canada women's semi-final. What a match it was. USA led for all of 30 seconds, ridiculous. Chrstine Sinclair is an unbelievable player.

            I may have made that bit up. The rest is true though. Unfortunately I have no idea if she can cook, would love to find out though.
