This evening we roll out the final part of our series of Projections articles for the season ahead. Having already assessed the Keepers, Defenders and the Midfielders, it’s finally time to start searching for value up front.

With the aid of our freshly Projections, we’ve analysed the average points expected per player over the course of the upcoming campaign and, applying this to the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player price list, have listed the top ten in terms of expected value per Fantasy pound for the season ahead…

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

If I'm looking for consistency and quality - the odd goals but more the steady accumulation of bps and racking up the cleanies...

    Coloccini or STaylor?

Oh Doosra! Can't wait to see this side come GW1! Or you'll end up with the ultra-generic in the end!

Next you'll be telling my you've joined the Diaby campaigners...

Well, Raylor is in both my sides at the moment, Plan A AND Plan B.

However. They are NOT generic ... 😆

I've 2 in common with each!

For 100% guaranteed starts, the very occasional goal and a few BP's - Coloccini.

For 1st choice but at risk of occasional rotation, more goal threat and more chance of BP's - Saylor.

You know, sometimes it's so stupid. Someone said something a few pages back and it got me thinking.

Like how we've all got McCartney/Demel, right? Yeah he's only 4.0 and he's only going to be used for rotation and yada yada. Guys, it's West Ham.

    West Ham.

    West.

    Ham.

Are we really going to do this?

Agger to City rumours are growing. It's really putting me off Lescott now. I read somewhere that Richards is injured, and given how Zabaleta has featured all pre-season, he should be a safe bet to start the opening few i reckon. Anyone else going for him?

Nope sticking with Lescott unless there's anything concrete on Agger before GW1.

Hopefully either Agger doesn't get signed or Mancini moves to 532 permanently, first seems more likely.

                  1 Solomon’s Song of Songs.

                  She[a]

2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—
for your love is more delightful than wine.
                  3 Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes;
your name is like perfume poured out.
No wonder the young women love you!
4 Take me away with you—let us hurry!
Let the king bring me into his chambers.
                  Friends

                  We rejoice and delight in you[b];
we will praise your love more than wine.
                  She

How right they are to adore you!
5 Dark am I, yet lovely,
                  daughters of Jerusalem,
dark like the tents of Kedar,
like the tent curtains of Solomon.[c]
6 Do not stare at me because I am dark,
because I am darkened by the sun.
My mother’s sons were angry with me
                  and made me take care of the vineyards;
my own vineyard I had to neglect.
7 Tell me, you whom I love,
                  where you graze your flock
and where you rest your sheep at midday.
Why should I be like a veiled woman

I'm planning to WC after GW3... it's much easier to set my team up with this in mind too :D, hopefully going to jump on some likely risers to hopefully make a bit of value and re-pick my side in the knowledge of form from the first 3 games and who seems to be first choice.... I believe there's a number of others waiting till the International break after that one.

Hey guys, just wondering if there is a position availble at Fulham for Frei or Kacanklic? If so which one is the better option?

Also, is Vaz Te likely to get regular starts at WHM?

If Dempsey leaves, then there's a space available. Although there's them 2, Davies and Rodallega all in contention for starts. Looks like rotation city to me so I don't think any of them will be viable FPL prospects, unless there are injuries.

Think Vaz Te should start, although I think he plays out wide sometimes.

what are the advantages and disadvantages of using your Wild Card early or using it late?

    Open Controls

      WC early advantages:

You can jump on players likely to rise and hopefully increase your team value in the process (even if you don't want the players rising you can get rid again before the next GW.) I maybe wrong but I'd imagine the value increases and decreases tend to be quicker earlier on in the season as more players are still playing and not as many just forgotten about or given up yet. I note that you can obviously do this late too but I don't see as much value in it then.

Also you'll get to see who the early form players are (those probably rising in price) and you can get rid of any early punts that haven't worked out much more easily.

      Late WC advantage:

You can copy a rivals team (although you'd only want to do this is you're ahead of them) also you may not think this is "Sportsman like"

I'm not sure what game that is, but surely there is better value than Evra. What about Agger, especially if he goes to Man City, or Koscielny?

Go with at least one of Walker, Vertonghen or Assou Ekotto. Do't listen to the people who use AVB as a reason that they won't keep clean sheets. There first 5 fixtures are great.

          Then have A.Cole for DGW

      Simpson/Debuchy Coloccini Saylor Santon.

Hopefully Debuchy deal will be sorted out but it's looking less likely atm as we can't agree on valuation. Simpson wants too much money and as long as we bring someone in will be on the way out as it's the last year of his contract.

Coloccini 100% nailed on, Saylor best chance of goals with a slight rotation risk with Williamson. Though watch out for if we sign a new CB (Douglas/Williams) as that might change things. Santon is good going forwards but Pardew took a while to trust him and a couple of dodgy performances might lead to him being dropped quite easily.

      Hope that helps.

I'm very very interested in him too. Think he's likely to have a massive FPL season if he can stay injury free. Might get him in for Lampard after the double. He is a bit on the pricey side unfortunately.

The good news though, is last year and at times the season before he has found some decent consistency, especially in away games. Due to fixtures id steer away at the start, but a good option later on.

Actually the season before last, where RVP was out for long stints, Walcott had a points per game ratio of 8.5 in away games and in half a season of minutes scored as many goals as Nani, Cahill and Young.

Don't believe every cliche about arsenal

Walcott can be so frustrating at times, and also injury prone as defenders feel they have to hit him hard to slow him down.. I'm looking at Santi Cazorla, not least because he is likely to be cheaper.

This is the one question I would love an answer to. Is Walcott gonna be starting from GW1. I really think he is worth a punt. Wenger has said Podolski and Giroud will need to settle in. I think £9 mill is a fair price too.

I think he'll be a great option at some point this season it's just getting him when he's on form. Him and Podolski should play opposite sides but with different classifications in FPL so imo Walcott is a better option.

great comments everyone cheers. I still really like walcott but will be very intersting to see how cazorla fits in and how much he is valued at. Surely he must be around 8.5 similar to kagawa?

Alright so going off the comments I've got the most generic team as:

    Friedel / Federici
    Demel / Cuellar / Williams / Hangeland / Lescott
    Mata / Noble / Y. Toure / Michu / Pienaar
    Rooney / Aguero / Petric

    Ive cracked it , I hope !!!!

    Foster / Begovic
    Rafael / Zabaleta / Dawson / McCartey / Tierney
    Nasri / Bale / Valencia / Maloney / Kacaniklic
Aguero / Torres / Petric or Graham

2mil for Torres to Rooney transfer. Apart from the fact there is speculation regarding my 3 main defenders 😉 But it is a wait n see , will switch things around if need be. If Dawson gets captain he will be first choice so will know that before season start. Will hopefully know about City def and whether to go Zaba/Clichy/Kolarov by community shield and Rafael I'm genuinely not sure about it will need to look into it as things develop.
