I know, but people were talking him up like the second coming of Jesus here after GW1!

He's a solid player with great off the ball stats. Hard worker. Diverse positions. But he will never be a great FPL pick as he doesn't get involved in the decisive moments enough.

        C’mon guys, he’s 5.5 (5.6) player. You expect Harry Kane at 4.5.
That Ferguson boy maybe, surely not this one, although he was okish in Watford but not star

That takes pens. And is a forward so not taking up a mid spot. I’ll be offloading but there are good things about him.

Its just exactly this. Great player. Had a good game. Just not an FPL asset currently.

    A. Jackson, Jota, Saliba => Alvarez, Son, Udogie.
    4 point hit

    B. Jackson, Odegaard => Alvarez, Son.
    Free.

    Recommendation please

Give Jota a spin tomorrow then assess. The question is a bit mindless without tomorrow's fixture, what if he bags an hattie?

Not all teams will be as naive as Burnley refusing to drop deeper.

High lines turn Son into a man

Bear in mind that Sheff Utd defensive weakness is a bit different to Burnley who play really high lines (visible for some of the Villa goals too) - instead weakness in more in the air and crosses into the box - both Forest goals were headers, one Everton goal today came from a corner etc.

      Headed goal attempts conceded:
      SHU 20
      BOU 16
      WHU 16
      TOT 14
      FUL 13
      MUN 10

    So last week must own contenders were;
Maddison, Sterling, Bowen, Mbeuno, Chilwell, Gusto, Udogie, Awoniyi and possible Foden, Walker, Dias, Nunez (Cash, Fernandes still to play)

A good few passed the audition today Bowen, Maddison, Udogie, Awoniyi and Mbeuno

    This week we have new blood entering the fray;
    Son, Ferguson, Alvarez

Out of the list above (and any I’ve missed) what’s your top 3 to 4 to keep tipping the scoreboard over regularly?

Current WC draft, Saka and Bruno head to head tomorrow competing for my last midfield spot!

    Areola
    Chilwell | Udogie | Cash
    Salah | Son | Maddison | Mbuemo | Bruno/Saka
    Haaland | Alvarez

    Turner | Archer | Baldock | Kabore*

*Is there a better option than Kabore seeing as he didn’t start on Friday?

    Thoughts?

You are not thinking of going with Brennan instead of Maddi? Think he may be the main weapon in the spurs team.

Nah Maddison is central to everything they do, the ‘new Kane’ in many ways

Brennan is a scorer and an assister. At under 6m I am going to go for him long term. Also no injury history.

Will decide between Saka and Maddison after GW8. If Salah makes it past next week then I will be sticking to him and Diaz so double Spurs and LFC midfield. All pending on Saka and how Arsenal do over the next GW's.

How have fellow FPL Managers done this GW4 ?

    ----

I currently have 81 points with two to play todate in GW34.

    ----
I had a shocker last week after a better start than last season
but last week GW3 34 points have wildcard this week & slight tweaks some pay off - three chelsea players a let down
with combined points of 6 - otherwise overall much happier. I did not want to play until GW5 or possible GW9 but
    had to make changes.
