Our Members Videos continue with another installment ahead of the Gameweek 10 deadline.

This week, it’s a goalkeeper special as David Munday examines the best men between the sticks.

As managers play the Wildcard in their droves this Gameweek, it has never been more important to assess which is the best shot-stopper combination, especially with so many highly-owned assets disappointing of late.

David uses the lesser-known elements of the Season Ticker and a deep-dive into the defensive numbers of every Premier League team, as well as some niche numbers reflecting a goalkeeper’s ability to make important saves, to find the answers you need.

The video is available to watch via the embedded link below.

There was also a live Q&A earlier today if you’re in the mood for more visual offerings, plus a whole host of other content in the Gameweek 10 playlist.

    It comes down to this...
    A) essentially Maddison out for Watkins -4
    B) Mbeumo to Diaby or Mitoma (no hit)

    If B then;
    1) Mitoma
    2) Diaby

Apologies for asking about this a few times, I just can't make my mind up!

Tough one- B is a better transfer but I would prefer Watkins. But losing Maddison for him for a -4 I don’t know if it’s a good idea (I haven’t really been much help sorry)

I have had the same thoughts, I'd need Watkins to outscore Maddison and Mitoma/Diaby by an extra 4 points for it to pay off. He may well do that but it's a gamble. I also feel like there's more flexibility in having a 5 strong playing midfield. Way more options. Just hurts every time Watkins scores!

Have the exact same dilemma. Going B 2 since no Watkins

Only reason I have Diaby on there is because I fear having no villa attack for the next 3. Problem is I haven't seen much at all of Diaby/villa games so don't even know if he passes the eye test (as Mitoma does every week).
Kinda hoping Watkins will decline now or at least Alvarez keeps up with him to an extent.

I do have Son. I will probably keep him long term unless he really drops off.
Another concern of getting Watkins is that it would make getting Saka back in very difficult. You think that should be a factor here?

In a draft league, would you buy:

    A) Adingra

    B) Fati

    1. F4L
      • 10 Years

Fati, even with less minutes he's a goal scorer. Adingra isn't carrying that goal threat with multiple starts

Yeh I'm leaning towards Fati as well, 3 goals in his last 4 matches.

Only concern is he doesn't seem to be starting in the premier league.

There's a reason Darwin has only started one game in the prem. He's a donkey.
And Rashford would rather pass away before passing the ball. Rashford doesn't help my argument for Hojlund at all frankly...

Ah the he is a "donkey" rhetoric that people spout. Yes, there have been reasons he has only started 3 prem games (not 1 like you falsely claimed) and it is not because he is a "donkey". Pay closer attention. He also has 3 goals and 4 assists in 337 minutes.

Would you rather lose Bowen or Diaby to bring in Saka?

Diaby out would also mean Trippier to Tsmikas/Gabriel

i would 100% keep both this week, they easily match/outscore saka

Diaby is a terrible pick IMO so I would drop him, easily.

I have Saliba. Suggest getting him if you can afford but if not, you have to go Gabriel. Partey and Havertz were impacting the chance of his starts but Partey's injured again and the formation seems set

Keep going back and forth with Saka or Martinelli

    a) Saka and Maguire (1st bench)
    b) Martinelli and Udogie (1st bench)

Would you have no bench for dream midfield of Salah, Son, Saka and Bowen? Or have a good first bench and get Martinelli?

Saka worth that risk over Martinelli, thought Martinelli is coming back in form lately?

Martinelli plays better with Jesus, who is out injured. Nketiah doesn't give Martinelli the same chances

Got a son maddison bowen diaby bowen midfield,

looking to get saka in soon but don't have enough in the bank to do it without a downgrade, and not sure who of diaby and bowen to lose to do it.

Currently thinking leave it a gw or 2 and see how it goes before deciding who to downgrade, right decision?

Brighton's schedule is lighter than West Ham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd, Newcastle due to going out of the League Cup. And we know for sure three of Arsenal/West Ham, Newcastle/Man Utd and Liverpool will be in the next round too.

The Son question is doing my head in

Do we think prices will rise tonight or is it just wildcards inflating the prices?
