First look at my team in over a week - Bowen the only real concern but keen to hear what others think I should do. I have 2 free transfers and £1.2itb.

    Johnstone

    Trippier / Gabriel / Guehi

    Salah / Son / Saka / Martinelli / Bowen

    Watkins / Alvarez

Subs: Areola / Edouard / Tsimikas / Taylor

Who to replace with Cash and 0.8m and 2 FT?

    Defence currently is:

    Areola / Turner
    Gabriel / Tsimikas / Lascelles / Taylor / Cash

Don't fall into the James trap with a defence like that IMO. Cash to Saliba seems sensible, although I expect Arsenal to concede this week.

James is a must-have when fit.

CS are a nice add-on, but he scores, assists and gets bonus points like Tripps. Just so much cheaper...

Cash has Bournemouth in GW14. Perhaps keep him till then. Spurs are likely going to be on the back foot with all their injuries as well.

      Far too many rotation targets.
Go safe whoever you get but not much in the defender department so maybe roll.

Bowen I’d keep for fixtures down the line as there’s some pretty decent ones there so even if he’s rested this week he’s a keep.
Martinelli on the other hand is someone you can tweak , Chelsea are starting to fire and there fixtures turn good in a few weeks Sterling might be worth a dabble into Chelsea team, palmer is red hot but not sure that penalty avalanche will keep coming . How you doing points wise without Halland? I’m 681 was looking good till his blinder against Chelsea , an assist of his buttocks for crying out loud!

    1. FOO FIGHTER
      • 4 Years

727 points without Haaland. Not sure if I should just stick it out until the blank or get him in by next week, transfer him out again in GW 18 and back again in GW19.

My rank has improved without him so going to see how GW13 goes, transferred out Son to release the funds to get him back. Will only cost me one hit.

City don't have the greatest of fixtures over the next three GW's so GW13 will leave me with a better idea of whether to run without him until the blank or bring him back in vs Spurs.

I think you meant to reply to my comment above judging from content! Not having the best season but on 689 so all is not lost. Still only 50 points or so off the top of my leagues. I'm going to start thinking about getting Haaland back in for GW 15 or 16. So I could downgrade Martinelli to Palmer to start building funds... What are you thinking?

There are three teams in the title race this season, LFC, City and Spurs.

With Liverpool sorting out their midfield, I reckon they will win the League this season.

Sup guys, got a dilemma for next week. Which do you prefer? B would mean I buy Solanke soon

    A. Diaby & Alvarez to Palmer & Watkins
    B. Diaby & Cash to Eze & Saliba.

Probably going to sell Bowen this GW.

Jarrod's Bowen’s scan results have shown fluid on the knee. This has a varying time of recovery. He will now see a specialist to determine how long that is.

all these injuries should make the football authorities and that dummy Infantino think about the quality of their product as opposed to the quantity. its effecting leagues and European cup competitions all over the world. some of the very best players are now missing, most recent viniscius for what looks like two months. 15 percent increase according to Ben Dinnery compared to the last 4 seasons. cant call it the best league when the best arent playing

All they care about is the money sadly. They know that football is massively profitable and they are squeezing every last dime they can from the sport. Sure players are getting paid handsomely as well, but the injuries are just getting more and more frequent and the quality(imo) is dropping.

    Hey guys,
    Got 2fts and 0itb.
    Flekken Turner
    Trippier Cash Tsimikas Tark Baldock
    Salah Son Mitoma D.Luiz Palmer
    Haaland Watkins Alvarez

    Which of these looks best?
    A) Cash, Mitoma to Guehi, Mbeumo (0.1itb)
    B) Mitoma, Alvarez to Mbeumo, Solanke (0.1itb)
    C) Mitoma, Luiz to Mbeumo, Nakamba (0.8itb)

I'm conscious I've got 8 playable attackers, and probably need to change Flekken at some point before 14 but need money to do anything.

For me it is a clear A.

Darwin is in such a good form.
Klopp would be stupid not to play him against that Swiss cheese style ManCity defence, which will offer him more space than any of those fighting-for-their-lives relegation team defences.

I think he would only be out if his flight was delayed by 72h.

That's got to be the lowest percentage for the top of the clean sheet odds I can remember so far this season :O

    *Checking*

Yup! The previous lowest that lead the weekly clean sheet odds was Fulham in GW8 with 44% and that failed, so can't say I'm confident they'll be many this GW tbh...

I've taken a hit again and done:

    Mitoma + Maddison ➡️ Mbuemo + Bowen

Hopefully it'll pay off, despite Bowen being flagged...

Cheers, G. Nope, not really expecting any cleans this GW, though I can hope for luck with ARS or CRY. Have a good week -- Bill

Thanks Bill, yeah looking like a rough week for defences but as you say can only hope we're on the end of some, somewhere 😀

You have good GW too mate!

It's good to have FPL back again 🙂

Doesn't look like good news on Bowen
