    a) Start double Newcastle defence (Dubravka / Lacelles)
    b) Start just Dubravka, play Anderson BOU (H) and bench Lacelles.

If i get dubravka will lock my third newcaatle spot, is it smart? Have lascelles and gordon (probably at some time Isak is option£

Similar position but I have Isak and Gordon. Not sure I’d double on their defence personally, as tempting as Dubravka makes it at his price

All boils down if you want to go to Isak as short term punt until Wilson is back. Luckily there are other FWD options you can go to whereas it is slim pickings for the cheap GK spot

Also probably an easy Lascelles to Trippier upgrade when Asian Cup/AFCON starts in January and release funds

    Would you rather

    A) Cash to a Newcastle defender (Schar / Lascelles / Livra all have varying attacking threat) - fwiw, Cash is benched for me this week, starting Saliba+Tsimi+Udogie

    B) Leno to Dubravka

Have 2xNEW already, Gordon and Isak

Maybe consider Chelsea GK/DEF alternative depending which Newcastle defensive option you go for e.g. Dubravka and Colwill or Sanchez and Lascelles

    Hi!

    1. Good to save the transfer here, right?
    2. Would you play Palmer over any other attacker? Darwin/Alvarez could be benched/rested I guess

    Flekken
    Saliba Schar Porro
    Salah Saka Bowen Gordon
    Haaland Alvarez Darwin
    (Turne Palmer Cash Kabore)

Darwin looks like a risk, but should get minutes and could easily get one in a 30min cameo versus the worst team in the league.

Not sure City can rest Alvarez with KDB, Grealish and Doku all absent.

I would roll or consider Turner to Dubravka.

Ohh that keeper change is actually a great shout as I've been hugely disappointed with both keepers (had them since gw1) - will prob.do that and even start Dubravka

With Burnley and Forest at home for Wolves, would you do Alvarez to Cunha for a short term move?

    Or go Diaby to Kudos.

    or both?

I reckon Wolves beat Burnley and Forest by a couple of goals, pretty short term move tho but still have my first wildcard to play.

        Kudos merits attention too.

I'd definitely do the Cunha move - I got him in 2 weeks ago and he's been great so far.
It all depends on your squad depth though as I wouldn't want to have to play him every week.
Diaby to Kudos looks good too, but that depends on your plans for 18

yep, tempted by both. will do some research today. I've been busy elsewhere and switched off a bit but sometimes that helps.

Will likely play into gw18 with a view to wildcarding out.

Son has the Asian Cup and Salah and others the Africa Cup of Nations around mid Jan and joining their squads before then.

The first wildcard to sort the squad out for then and saving wildcard 2 to get them back in has some sound logic to it.

    Flekken
    Gabriel Tsimikas Guehi
    Salah(c) Saka Son Mbeumo Palmer
    Haaland Darwin

    Areola Udogie Archer Cash
    0.2m 1FT

Looks like the week where rotation really stings, but I'm happy with my team so likely to ride it out (most people in the same boat).

    A) Flekken to Dubravka (feels sensible, gets me in to Newcastle defence) for very cheap and frees up some funds.
    B) Roll

Haaland gets away with beeing a bit wasteful because he actually scores more and the amount of chances he gets are quite high. Nunez offers more in other aspects of the game and us more flexible in terms of position, but is not as good as Haaland in terms of being inside, which in fact is a quality.
Still think Nunez is more dit for Liverpool than Haaland, he just needs to learn how to put sitters.

Currently on the Areola/Turner keepers like a lot of people

    A) Lascelles + Areola ------> Colwill + Dubravka (-4)
    B) Find a different route to a keeper

i'm 0.3 off just doing Areola -----> Sanchez. Really struggling to find the funds for this move. I guess possibly if I downgrade Mbuemo to Palmer in 18. But if Brentford get their double soon after I am going to possibly want to keep him.

While it looks like a decent option. He's demanding quite a hefty pay check and Newcastle have Dubravka and Karius as second and third goalkeeper. I know they have money from oil and human right breaking journalist killers money but even they seems to be a little bit restrictive with money, it seems.

If you are going to replace Watkins it will have to be with Darwin but even with the fixture difference I don't think Darwin will be able score enough between now and GW 18 to make it worth it.
