Areola given he's not playing, unless you really need the funds

Not sure on the Porro move for a hit, think Everton will score and they've been good defensively so it'll be an interesting game, he's been excellent for a while now though so it should pay off long-term if not this week

I had a stormer in GW17 (GW rank 86k) and I want my Solanke points. I feel robbed 🙁

Is there a way to cheat in this game instead of being cheated? 😆

Let's see what GW18 brings, I've brought in Watkins to throw the armband on, so no doubt he'll blank after weeks of killing me 🙂

        How you looking?

Hope you have a banging GW mate! Good luck to you too!!!

I had a middling 63-4 in GW17, 1 point above safety for a tiny green arrow to rank 233,670. This is with Salah captain and Solanke at 6 (not 9). Sub for Solanke would be Bowen at 8. But I will be OK with any resolution in which Lockyer ends up healthy. (Would be great if he can still play, but only if lots of docs are sure that's safe.)

My only changes for GW 18 will be Turner/Johnstone becoming Dubravka/Turner, Watkins as captain, and a rearranged bench, mostly Darwin benched and Bowen in squad. Please don't curse Watkins for the both of us... Wild card will be GW20 so hoping Haaland status will be clear by then.

Thanks for the good wishes, and have a fine holiday. --Bill

Any GW resulting in a green arrow is a good GW my friend 😀

So sorry to say I already have cursed Watkins(C) and brought him in for Archer. I might take a hit to bring a defender in but we'll see...

I'm no doctor but think the medication that Lockyer will now get will make it impossible to train so retirement looks likely in my eyes 🙁

    https://twitter.com/BenCrellin/status/1736512243393531961

After Pep's comments a few days ago suggesting the Brentford game will be rearranged into GW21, Ben Crellin says that the PL may be waiting for the EFL Cup fixtures to be over to announce it, although it may happen as late as Friday (if it's going to happen). Toney's ban will be up by GW21.

      1) league calls the game completed at 1-1 = you get Solanke points and bonus will be added
      2) remaining 30 mins of game played this week (very unlikely imo) - you get current points and an extra 30 mins of Solanke playing
      3) game replayed from start this week (very unlikely too) - Solanke points reset
      4) game replayed from start another week = Solanke blanks and autosubs come in
      5) game replayed for remaining 30 mins in another week = less clear what would happen here

      1. ᶠᶦˡᵗʰʸLucre $$$
        • 10 Years
        1 year, 11 months ago

        1) = 2%
        2) = 0%
        3) = 0%
        4) = 97%
        5) = 0%

The missing 1% is option 4, but with the points standing.

I don't think Haaland is a must have against a good in-form Everton side in 19 assuming he is fit. You should consider getting him in 20 using Salah (H v Newcastle) to fund the move

Right, need some views on what to do

At the moment I'm playing Saliba, Gabriel, Areola and Cash and have only 1 free transfer.

I also have Nuno Tavares on my bench and I'm worried he'll get recalled to Arsenal in January so I'll be forced to move him out as I already have triple Arsenal

Where should I focus my transfer most?

    Areola or Turner to Dubravka?

The recent results are not good for both.

Probably one that you could earn profit or protect loss.

What happened to Isak at the weekend, doesnt have a flag?

Front 3 of Isak, Darwin and Solanke promised so much! Only 1 playing sub too so the Solanke abandoned game hurts double

Hope Isak is ok as i cant stand looking at Darwin in my team any longer

“He is not doing too bad. He’s been playing recently but still isn’t 100 per cent with a groin problem. We just felt today was probably the right time to rest him.

“He’s put himself on the pitch for us because Callum’s not been fit, and he’s played a lot of minutes. But he’s not 100 per cent fit, and I want to try to get him 100 per cent if physically possible. But with the further injuries we’ve had, I don’t know if that will be the case.” – Eddie Howe on Alexander Isak

Eddie Howe speaks to the media ahead of CHENEW.

On the injuries to Joelinton and Fabian Schär:

"Both players will have scans today so we will know more. They don’t appear to be too bad but I am reluctant to say too much before we have the scan results back."

Thanks, that's a wait & see then. Hopefully he's fine as I have absolutely no idea who to replace him with (would be someone cheap I can bench most of the time as I've got Trent/Porro/Saliba now)

        Konsa/Carlos or Kerkez/Senesi?

Does anybody know why Braithwaite didn’t play for Everton at the weekend and if Godfrey and Keane are nailed now (they did play)?

joelinton, pope , schar all potentially out, tripp has to be a huge risk now. i just dont see cleanies for them. joleinton a huge part of protecting that defence which is already very weak looking now

Could force them to be more dogged and grind out results. Similar to how Man United got their point against Liverpool. No Europe now as well.

Burn, Botman and Longstaff available should strengthen the defence

True story. Tripper still good for a few attacking returns though and he'll be a busy man putting out fires. May a few Christmas baps be his reward 🙂

What do you mean by Tripp has to be a huge risk now?

Might be less solid in defence without Joelinton.

They did well against an inform Fulham attack without Trippier, Botman, Schar.

No obvious captain option this week if you don't have Watkins innit? I'm currently on Bowen

Salah maybe. Have Watkins, Bowen too.
