Just a blip, that's all. Newcastle play Luton next who aren't on the same level as Chelsea. Plus Botman and Burn are getting more minutes too, so they are almost back at full strength.

A question for FPL Draft, which one is better for the rest of the season?

    A. Gusto
    B. Aké

The rest of the defence is: Stones, Ruben, Gvardiol, Robertson

    1. Big Mike
      • 3 Years
      2 years, 4 days ago

Ptrobably Gusto, as he's less likely to get rotated.

    2. Bluetiger1
      • 3 Years
      2 years, 4 days ago

      Unsure of defence make-up

Currently Robertson not fit until mid-jan
Stones is not 100% sure of a start
Better defence I feel is Arsenals & Liverpools

Aka Out of two - his played the last two 90 mins for City
Gusto is not 100% starter even with James out as Disasi ahead in starting line up
I would actual go Colwill if a Chelsea defender especially if on the left as attacking more.

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Disasi is not a right back. And he was terrible tonight. I think Gusto will go in at right back from the weekend and be pretty nailed until James returns.

It’s draft, there’s very little chance any Arsenal, Liverpool defence, or Colwill, is available

    3. Kingy109
      • 4 Years
      2 years, 4 days ago

If its draft Gusto for this week as at least he might play...

I'd do some more major surgery - Robertson is out for a while yet and you'll have a chance to bring him back in a few weeks. You have too many City defenders who might not play, and especially not this week. Ake is another one, even less reliable than the ones you have. Ruben is a reliable keep though.

When Free Agency is available I'd be looking again at who hasn't been taken and see if there aren't any better options that you can rely on a bit more to to play. Or try a trade?

    4. Casual Player
      • 5 Years
      2 years, 4 days ago

      Gusto

I like the ManC triple defence in draft because when they turn it around they’ll probably do something insane like 6 CS in 8 and you’ll have 2/3 starters every time. But 4 might be overkill. And with them blanking next week you can easily switch to Ake next week if you decided to go 4.

I think you’re also getting draft advice from non-draft players on Robbo. If you’ve held him this long you need to stay the course IMO. In an engaged league there’s very little chance you’ll get him back or be able to find someone on waivers who is anywhere near as good

Palmer taking responsibility and scoring the first pen should remove any doubts of the pen taker when both Palmer and Nkunku are on the pitch.

Draft league and I want a Villa defender. Pau is already taken.
    A) Diego Carlos
    B) Alex Moreno (minutes risk with Digne??)

    1. _Greg
      • 15 Years
      2 years, 4 days ago

A is way more nailed but upside I'd probably grab Moreno.

I got Moreno for the upside but then I had Pau already. I might try for all 3 for this week.

I am however 100 points clear in my draft league so I free to live a little.... your mileage may vary and I might then go the pick who'll almost certainly play in Carlos

    Dubravka
    Saliba, Guehi, Tsimikas
    Salah, Saka, Son, Gordon, Palmer
    Solanke, Watkins (c)

    Areola, Gabriel, Archer, Taylor

    1ft 8.6 itb

Really considering just rolling the transfer.

Would you make any moves here or roll?

    1. Feanor
      • 16 Years

A brave move would be to get in TAA for Guehi

If he gets the only goal in a 1-0 Liverpool win, that's a 15 pointer

    2. Kingy109
      • 4 Years

I might consider Richarlison for Gordon based on the injury tonight no doubt putting a flag on him again - unless you fancy talking a risk you need Archer to score this week?

  22. _Greg
    • 15 Years
    2 years, 4 days ago

Đorđe Petrović, just had a read up about him. He was an absolute monster in the MLS. Easily worth 4.5m for sorting your goalkeeper out.

I have Leno and Pickford but say you have a 3.9m Dubravka this guy could be the solution.

    1. Bluetiger1
      • 3 Years
      2 years, 4 days ago

Good call - I mentioned this the other day as with his form in MLS & forthcoming fixtures,
Chelsea need a solid keeper & with Nkunku on the bench coming off to score pen the other
end with all their procession might actual be able to string some results finally together

      1. _Greg
        • 15 Years
        2 years, 4 days ago

I can't root for Chelsea to win the cup but Nkunku and Palmer are in my fantasy team.

    2. Hazz

Petrovic really depends on how long Sanchez ends up being. Once Sanchez is back I imagine he comes back in, unless Petrovic is really spectacular.

FWIW, and you probably already know this - but the Leno/Pickford rotation is wonderful for ages. That in itself is a nice differential?

Dubravka may be on borrowed time too come January.
