Salah or Son because they're going away for more than a month

Arguably would like to keep salah and son this week and then sell them both in 21 for free. They both play at home.

Morning gents - with 2FT and 4.3m ITB, what looks best here?

    A) Isak to Watkins, roll FT (bench Udogie / Gordon)
    B) Isak Udogie to Watkins Moreno (bench Gordon)
    C) B but with Estupiñán in (bench him or Gordon)
    D) other

    Areola (Dubravka)
    Trent Saliba Porro Udogie (Branthwaite)
    Salah Son Saka Gordon Palmer
    Solanke (Isak Archer)

Also a Villa fan if that counts for anything! Thanks for any help and good luck all 🙂

could also sell Saka / Salah / Gordon for Foden… or wait a week and do that next week when Salah and Son leave

I’d do just one of Isak > Watkins or Gordon > Foden (probably the Watkins move) and then keep your 2 FTs for next week to do the midfield moves once Salah and Son leave

If I was wildcarding he’s definitely worth a punt imo - just make sure your others are sure fire starters (or as close as possible) too. Help above?

This is my current draft. I think Imll probably downgrade Raya.

            Raya Areola

            TAA Saliba Porro Gusto Mykolenko

            Salah Son Foden Bowen Saka

            Alvarez Solanke Wood.

Should be ok- Johnson and Kulusevski looking good on the flanks and with high playing wing backs- don’t think it will make a difference.

2 FT, £0.2m ITB and don’t really know what to do and to use a transfer on this week as want to hold Salah and Son for another week and quite happy with my team

    Areola (Dubravka)
    Porro TAA Gabriel (Tripper Taylor)
    Saka Salah Son Bowen Palmer
    Solanke Watkins (Archer)

    Thoughts on
    A. Trippier to any other defender to save some money given I’ll be benching him for a few weeks (possibly Estupinan now he’s back, or Branthwaite/ Gusto as more budget choices)
    B. Trippier to Branthwaite/ Gusto AND Archer to Alvarez (bench Palmer) or
    C. Something else!

Thinking A even though it’s not that exciting as probably better to hold 2 FTs for next week than use to get to Alvarez

Roll to replace Salah and Son next week or go Nunez > Alvarez this week? 1FT 0.6 ITB

    Salah Son Palmer Bowen

    Watkins Darwin G.Jesus

I’d roll. I think Nunez starts and you never know could finally be in form now! Alvarez move could pay off and is tempting but I think you get more value from the 2 FTs next game week

I imagine he’ll be streaky: the occasional goal/assist amongst 2-pointers and benchings. Especially with KdB on the mend.

      I think Foden’s points will look much like they do now: 8, 5, 2, 3, 9, 2, 2, etc..

I’m massively chasing so I’ll bring him in for a short-term three- or four- week punt and reassess end of Jan.

I'm punting Foden then Bowen can come in for Son.

As a WC approach, how does this sound.

Keep Salah, Bowen, Palmer. Sell Son & Saka for Foden & Richarlison (or other similar priced mid). Then in 21 downgrade Salah to Odegaard and have the funds available for the Haaland upgrade as needed.

Alternative is to keep Saka and just do Son to Foden, leaving the Salah move an unplanned one...

I think Solanke has earnt the right to the benefit of the doubt to be honest. Bournemouth are flying too, unbeaten since GW10 with the exception of a hammering by City, won every one of those games except the City one and a draw with Villa. Spurs will give Bournemouth plenty of chances this week.

No no no no no. I haven't had Solanke this season and still don't really want him that much but I feel like I can't avoid him this week on WC against that Spurs side. Highly doubt Nkunku starts v Luton

Do we think Darwin starts this week again? Sad as it is I think I’m going to have to keep him another week if haaland isn’t back

Nobody thinking of Bernardo Silva? Better points per game than Foden and seems like his minutes have improved…

Has done me just fine over past 7 gws, & even more so since Haaland's absence. Overlooked imo.

& 3.9% ownership at 6.4m.. Surprised he's not made differential articles.

Looking at him to replace Gordon but a KDB return at any point would see him drop deeper again

This would be my concern, even Doku coming back may push him back to a more defensive central role most likely. Fabulous player to watch but a bit too streaky and hard to predict because of how versatile he is

Was tempted but he tends to get his big returns in away games historically (Bournemouth the exception this season) so went for the Foden trap this week

recent gameweeks showing just why pep sold zinchenko and jesus. he's a canny man, no doubt about it. both very good players but with some glaring deficiencies

Yeah spot on this. Jesus doesn’t have that clinical killer instinct and zinchenko is an accident waiting to happen

Sterling too. Perhaps not a big surprise that Zinchenko seems to do so much better for Ukraine in a more central and attacking position, doesn't often look very comfortable defending in 1v1s
