      I would think folks will take hits to get 11 players to cover both 26 and 29 to make it worthwhile. Also chips could be in play to get 11 as well. Probably won't be a clear chip strategy until we know more on 29

      We have no idea, depends on his hammy recovery. He will might get 60-120 mins at best if available with the EFL cup final 4 days after the Luton game in mind

      Key problem with this plan is a massive HAALAND shaped hole...

    You know all those negative FPL posts about template, lack of a player pool, games become boring, etc etc

    Not seen any for ages have we?

    As a player since records began (record back to 06/07) etc, I just want to say: the game is currently absolutely right where we want it to be!

    Captaincy? no idea
    Bench? no idea
    Formation? no idea
    Son, Salah - i cant actually wait for them to come back as i believe they're the only 2 players that are must haves - but they arent here, and it's both terrible and great

    Each week is complete jeapordy and for once all mini league squads have so much variance. Yeah ok you can focus on a less than 1% of content creators / so called celeb types and find a "template" but in reality there has never been such a wide open game.

    Just wanted to say for balance

      Mate you've got that 12 by your name for a reason: experience of FPL

      step away from the wildcard. with 2 frees you can still do 4 transfers for 8pts and probably sort your team out

    0.4m short of Alvarez to Haaland and priced out if I don't move tonight

    Any objections to selling Areola >> Kelleher (3.7m GK) and rely solely on Dubravka?

    Dubravka: Nfo A, Bou H, Ars A, Wol H
    Areola: Ars H, Nfo A, Bre H, Eve A

    Only other obvious route to free up funds would be to sell Estupinan - but he plays in the blank and has Sheffield in GW25 and could do damage if he comes back into the starting XI

      Bowen is an interesting one. Has a lovely fixture in BGW26.
      KdB is a must have though.
      Not sure Darwin is an upgrade on Alvarez though.

      How long do you wait for Salah? Might be available for the double, but how fit will he be? Then blanks and plays Forest away & Man City. Then probably blanks again.

    Fantasyfootballhub the best price predictor this year? FPLstats has Haaland rising but has been wrong so many times this season including on Haaland's original rise. Inclined to back FFHub which has him on +88% and wait.

    Which City assets to own besides Haaland? I have Foden, but he surely won't play two games — but it does seem scary (or even silly) to sell before a DGW.

      Jota in, yes. Bowen out I'm less convinced about.

      Haaland and Kevin, then take your pick. Minutes will be shared between Bilva, Foden, Alvarez, Doku, Nunes & Grealish. Maybe even Bobb.

      If you want guaranteed minutes, then Rodri.
      I'm going with Alvarez simply because I still own him from way back.

      I'd want to give Foden another watch with KDB + Foden + Haaland in the team. I'm still not convinced KDB is a good value asset and will limit the ability to get Salah back if he comes back soon.

    With Liverpool blanking in 26 how many of their players will you have for double 25, particularly if you have Spurs, Chelsea and Luton players who are also blanking in 26?

      Trying to figure that out now.

      Have Richarlison, Porro, Palmer. Gusto and TAA all set to blank.

      Estupinan and Taylor also concerns. Could be without 7 players and that is without the likes of Jota who I'd ideally like for the double.

      Want to use FH and go triple liverpool but the Blank in 29 could be even worse with even fewer games

      The quality of fixtures in 29 needs to improve to warrant a FH there. Trouble is the full line-up for 29 will be revealed post GW26 deadline.
      So yes, probably.

        It's the chance of there being few games on that worries me - especially if they are lower level teams playing who I don't own. Would struggle to field 6 players.

        Only Brentford, Spurs, Burnley and Fulham confirmed to play so far. Could be a maximum of 7 blanks

          Ah sorry, both are solid options, I brought Neto in this week, Wolves are in good goalscoring form and have good fixtures. Barkley has good fixtures too of course with 3 games at home in the next 4 and the double, if you can cover GW26 he probably has the edge

    Having Watkins but losing rank sucks! The top 200k is so tight, it's equivalent to top 20k from 10years ago, but feel weird how big the swings can be.

      Similar rank with Watkins and watching my rank fall tiny increments while he clocked up the points was not as painful as how the guy in my mini league who sold him for Solanke felt. Just glad I had him.
