    What should I do here? 2ft and 1.2itb. Sell Konsa or Colwill to better prepare for bgw26 or get dgw25 players and FH in 26?

    Ederson
    TAA Porro Saliba
    Foden Saka Richarlison Palmer
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

    Dubravka; Garnacho, Konsa*, Colwill*

      prepare for double but dont FH26

      Changing Konsa/Colwill makes sense. Then next week Palmer and 2nd defender to DGWer should be good enough.

      I'm in a similar boat - but you have 2 FTS so don't think you need to FH in 26. Possibly another pool player for 26 (Jota/Darwin)?

          hmm, he has palace this week.

          I think it would be better to delay the move by 1 week and do Palmer to Jota in next

      After having taken the sacrifice of holding this long, it's time to cash in on the differential haul v BHA while everyone ignores him due to doubles / blanks. I mean, I do rate Jota as the top Liverpool pick for 24-5 but if you can find another way...

    I have 4 players from Chelsea/Liverpool/Spurs and all 3 of my subs (Konsa, Baldock, Anderson) are injured.

    Would you consider a FH in GW26? Otherwise it's a -4 to get 11 out that week.

    Forward planning thought process. Any holes? All transfers are for free. Not a single hit required.
    GW24;
    Porro > Richards

    GW25;
    Semenyo > JPedro
    TC Haaland

    BGW26;
    Trent > Moreno

    GW27;
    Bowen > Saka

    GW28;
    BB
    Richards & J. Pedro > Senesi & Solanke

    BGW29;
    FH

    GW30;
    Saka > Son

    GW31;
    WC, Bring in the likes of Gabriel, Salah, Toney and triple Wolves, team would look like:
    Dubravka/Areola
    Trippier, Gabriel, Estupinan, Doughty, Udogie
    Salah, KDB, Gordon, Palmer, Hee Chan
    Haaland, Toney, Cunha

      GW24 team pre-transfers;

      Why wouldn’t you bring in a 3rd City player for free this week? They double in GW25 and play BGW26.

      GW24: Porro to Gvardiol
      GW25: Bowen to Jota
      GW26: Jota to GW29 player (Villa or Arsenal)
      GW27: KDB to Son
      GW28: Gvardiol to Porro/Udo
      GW29: FH or just field as many as you can.

    Foden

    I’ve held off a number of weeks as I felt with Kdb and Haaland returning his minutes would reduce / be less appealing as an fpl asset. Stop overthinking it and just get him in? He keeps returning

        I’d argue he is definitely no worse than KDB as an asset. Possibly put him ahead of him actually as an option. He’s been the driving force for City for months now and has to be the first name on that team sheet.

    I'm struggling to see the value in FH29.

    Only Burnley v Brentford and Fulham v Spurs are confirmed as fixtures for 29 with West Ham v Villa or Arsenal v Chelsea to join them depending on the result of tonight's cup replay. Maybe one (at best two) more fixture could be added depending on who progresses to the QF of the Cup and it's not likely to be one of the teams with good FPL assets like City or Liverpool.

    Spurs seem to be the best team to load up on for 29 and triple Spurs can be obtained using FTs - most have one or two Spurs assets already. Would assume most have 2-4 WHU/AVL or ARS/CHE already and can add to that depending on who has the fixture in 29.

    I think a team of at least 9 players playing in 29 can be easily reached without hits and probably with the best players from those teams anyway.

    FH may be better used in one of the later DGWs in the season or even in 25/26.

    1. The Mentaculus
      • 4 Years
      1 year, 10 months ago

      "Would assume most have 2-4 WHU/AVL or ARS/CHE" - 2 here currently from those 4 teams (Moreno & Watkins) and might be down to 0 by GW29 if I were to ignore this GW (i.e. plan to FH it). So, the old "team dependent" cliche applies

      1. The Tonberry
        • 1 Year
        1 year, 10 months ago

        Most FPL decisions are team dependent in the end.

        I've got Areola, Bowen, Watkins, Saka, Saliba and Palmer from those two fixtures and feel that whoever has the game in 29, I'd have decent cover for anyway.

        Just not sure that there are many other assets worth loading up on to warrant using the FH chip in 29 that I couldn't get to by using FTs

        1. The Mentaculus
          • 4 Years
          1 year, 10 months ago

          Yeah that's fair. I can totally understand saving FH if you have 9 or so including Toney/Saka/Watkins etc

          Trying to squeeze Darwin in at the moment.

          Allison - Flekken
          Trippier - Moreno - Gabriel - Doughty - Van Hecke
          KDB - Foden - Jota - Richarlison - Barkley
          Haaland - Watkins - Adebayo

          (Considering Watkins or Richa downgrade to get Darwin in)

    4. Zladan
      • 8 Years

      Agree.

      I’ve looked at who I’d pick and I don’t really expect many points in return for it.

      I see each chip with a value of about 20 points.

      BB - I’d aim for at least 20 points on the bench.

      TC - I’d use on a premium during a DGW and also aim for around 20 points.

      FH - it’s harder to say but if you can manage to use it on a BGW with good fixtures or even a DGW later on… then I believe you could also aim to earn 20 additional points to your standard team.

    5. Zladan
      • 8 Years
      1 year, 10 months ago

      Further more.

      It’s easy to shift City and LFC players to Son + Madders/Rich + Porro/Udo.

      Arsenal or Villa players can slowly come in - most have Watkins/Saka + defender anyway.

      Then it’s Toney v Wood depending on funds.

    6. Nate(U)dog(ie)
      • 5 Years

      It's all relative. If Villa beat Chelsea (which is my guess) then I'll be on 1 player for BGW29 (maybe plus one or two through FTs), getting 7 or 8 extra players from an FH seems pretty worth it then

      I'd leave it until at least 26 if it means taking a hit - TAA, Gabriel and Porro should be OK until then. Is not as if defenders are scoring much at the moment anyway!

      Technically transferring them out for players who actually play in BGW26 is only a 2 point hit if the players score at least 2 points from playing so it could be worth it.

      Depends who the replacements are & if you'd start them ahead of Trent/Porro/Gabriel this week/next

    Anyone considering Bernardo.
    Have Haaland and Foden. This will enable me to keep Son rather than move for KDB

    Joe Gomez worth transfering in? Good fixtures, has double, and Konate/Matip seems to be injured

      Is Konate injured? Thought he was just suspended. Don't forget Quansah too.

      I was interested in Konate as 3rd LFC, but then he got suspended.

      Gomez risky as Robbo is back. Also Matip/Quansah ahead of Gomez in pecking order CB.

    For the double:

    1) KDB, Adebayo, -4

    2) Darwin, TAA

    ??

      Can have Darwin from GW24 and already have TAA but let's focus more on a DGW call, probably easier to compare.

      It’s probably a transfer you’ll reverse later. But surely worth the gamble.

      Probably wouldn't go there

      Don't think there's much in it for 25 tbh; would stick with Toney

      Yeah I could make that move but not even slightly tempted. Eye test over stats tells me to stay away
