Best move here with an eye on gw 26 ? think a hit is required both tthis and next gameweek

    Dubravka
    Porro* Gabriel TAA*
    Richarlison Foden Jota Saka
    Watkins Darwin Haaland(TC)

    areola palmer colwill taylor

    A. TAA and Palmer > Van Hecke and KDB -4 ( means benching one of richarlison and watkins)
    B. TAA>Ake
    C. Colwill and TAA > ake and VVD -4 (-8 needed in gw 26)

Who will buy him though I wonder. He can be superb when fit but he can never manage to stay fit no matter how much of a gap between the games there is or how much his minutes are managed. According to Transfermarkt he's missed nearly 400 days since 20/21

Sheffield United or Everton would buy him if they could afford his wages etc as Premier League goals, even half of the time are vital in a relegation battle.

But that doesn't apply in the summer, perhaps to a promoted team?

I was screaming for 50 minutes (,before kick off) at the television to make Poch realize he was doing a mistake when he played Palmer as a striker. He must have heard me, and I am 100% agreeing with your view, it also applies to Gordon.

I am just whistling Dixie here...

But Schar or Burn as Central Forward would be nasty for opponents. Then just play your normal wing-men.

I don't think I have seen Harvey Barnes as a Central Forward, maybe he is awesome there too?

But Gordo is not a central forward. Almiron is a better sacrifice for a false 9. The Paraguayo has a knack for goals and positioning. Leave Gordo wide.

No need to worry, similar set up to me.
Darwin, Jota and Virgil are the only picks worth considering for Liverpool. Everything else has risk attached to it and requires too much surgery to get them in and out.

We made a decision on Toney or Darwin, very few would have both.

Yeah, it's fine. Bad can potentially hurt you, but Trip can get you points, and Toney Saves you a transfer in 26. And he'll score vs City.

Thanks all, actually I haven't made my move yet she could still get Darwin and / or VVD but will just mean another 2 hits to put a team out for 26 so Toney seems like a better option. Just have to hope Liverpool don't go too crazy and that there's a lot of rotation

All ifs and buts but IF Salah and Gakpo were to start the second game at home to Luton, who's the most likely to keep their place out of the other 3? I expect the front 3 to be unchanged for Brentford.

    Already done Richy/Bowen -> Jota/KDB for a -4. If Porro misses out...

A - play Taylor off the bench
B - buy VVD for the DGW (would bring me to -8, and require a -4 next week for a full XI)
C - buy Saliba or Trippier or another SGW DEF (still brings me to -8, but no hit next week)

    Afternoon.

I have 1 ft and a defensive line up as follows ..

Gabriel TAA* Porro* Guehi* Lamptey (rotation risk)

Where do I start? I think a hit seems sensible if it also gives me 2 starters in gw26 as well?

    Guehi & TAA -> Trippier & Ake?

I'll FH 29, so not a problem there.

City fixtures are never awful - but all CS are unreliable. He has some attacking threat.

It's that or Maguire I think.

I understand your point, and if I had a use for the extra cash I'd prob go cheap. But if Porro is injured I need defenders and can't get Salah or kdb in all likelihood.

VVD if you have enough cover for next week, otherwise Saliba.

I do dislike the press, even Fabrizo got Olise's release clause wrong in the Summer and now claims Hodgson has got the Sack even though he has been holding the fort since the Bournemouth game (and IMO, should have retired on a high at the end of last season, particularly as he was taken to Hospital before the Villa game in September).

It's just so disrespectful, to a manager that has served the game well,a nd Palace very well. Not everyone like his style of football, but that is irrelevant

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson was taken to hospital on the advice of club medical staff this morning – although he is now understood to have made a recovery and is speaking to friends and doctors.

The club is hopeful that Hodgson, 76, will go home on Thursday, pending medical advice and he is said to be in good spirits. Hodgson was able to walk unaided and was speaking to doctors. He will undergo further tests. The club chairman Steve Parish accompanied him to hospital.

Hodgson will not be in charge for the game against Everton on Monday which is likely to be taken by his assistants Paddy McCarthy and Ray Lewington. As the second Premier League game he has missed this season through illness, it now looks like any succession plans Palace might have in place will have to be accelerated.

It is becoming clear that Hodgson can likely no longer carry on, having previously fallen ill in the week before the away fixture against Aston Villa in September. The rigours of Premier League management, as well as the advancing years, however, would appear to be taking their toll on a man who has served almost half a century as a coach. The job is ever more demanding with the match calendar, the travel, training and preparation and other huge demands on the manager’s time.

Now that Glasner is about to be brought in (nothing has been signed yet, the club has some explaining to do, why Roy was asked to carry on, as like me he seems a man who doesn't want to stop or say no, when he really should set his own boundaries or get someone to tell him to), and also the Glasner is replacing Hodgson, who was holding the fort until a new manager arrived. He was not Sacked!

It would look really bad for Glasner to immediately replacing a sacked manager who was taken ill on the same day, which I am sure some papers will like to write but is just succeeding him, which does sound alot less "headline making"

He might need a few months to adapt and impress ETH enough to get a starting spot.

    Lazio Coma*
    Bank - £0.1m

    Dubravka (Turner)
Trippier, Alexander-Arnold, Gabriel (Van Hecke, Lamptey)
Palmer, De Bruyne (C), Gordon, Saka (Andreas)
    Darwin, Watkins, Haaland (VC)

    What should I do?
    a) Saka & Gabriel > Jota & Ake (-4)
    b) Andreas & TAA > Jota & Ake (-4)
    c) Something different, perhaps involving Goden

    Thanks in advance

-8 probably too much for me unless it helps next week as well. Would say 1

      1

-8 is a lot to make up, especially for a player you likely won't captain.
