Of all the messed up things that have happened this season Lamptey playing 5 games without getting injured might be the hardest to take.

As an owner, seeing him hauled off at ht with 0 points takes the gloss of this somewhat.

Yeah the irony of Estu scoring a point more is not lost.

    A) Solanke: MCI(H) BUR(A) +4 pts
    or
    B) Toney: WHU(A) CHE(H)

This. Just can't have them all. I wanted Hojlund last week but couldn't fit him in with Haaland, Toney and Solanke, been a while since we've had a good few decent options for FWDs though which is nice

I expect him to pick Haaland, Alvarez, KDB and Foden again like he did in the first game at Brentford.

FPLReview seems very hot on Hee Chan as Jota replacement.

Is he worth the extra transfer/hit in 29 over likes of Bowen and Douglas Luiz?

Douglas Luiz, in particular, seems an incredibly dull pick.

Nice to see a fellow FPLReview user. Review has Hee Chan in for me for WC27/30/31 solves

      D. Luiz will be lot deeper since Kamara is injured. West Ham playing badly without Paqueta. Wouldnt go for either of those.

Mm depating same move and options for me are Hee Chan or Garnacho. Currently going to go for Hee Chan

Bailey would be an option but dont want triple Villa. And he is not 100% nailed

    Areola (Dubravka)
Gabriel Saliba Ait-Nouri (Van Hecke Taylor)
    Foden KDB Saka Hwang (Richarlison*)
    Haaland(c) Solanke Watkins

1FT £0.5m I got very lucky (so far) on eschewing Liverpool players to have a full team for this GW26.

    a) Play Ait-Nouri (SHU) or Van Hecke (EVE)?

    b) Captain Saka (NEW), Haaland (bou) or Watkins (NFO)?

    1. Mother Farke

Ait-Nouri out of those two imo.

Captain for me depends on what happens between Saka and Haaland in midweek. In other words, wait and see.

Remember when AFCON hit and there were people saying "FpL oFtEn uPdAtE fLaGs BeFoRe tHe Gw EnDs"

Where's Jota's red flag? Out for two months with posterior cruciate ligament damage. Funny that eh? Inconsistencies in this game are WILD. Fella needs to be red-flagged immediately.

    1. Tonyawesome69
      • 6 Years

There is nothing official from Liverpool on Jota's injury

But still, we all saw him leave the game on a stretcher. You can't really think that doesn't warrant at least a yellow flag?

          • 6 Years

Sure, 75% yellow flag stating knock should suffice until we get confirmed information.

Red flag for unconfirmed information is not correct.

We also saw him not long after walking around unaided in the corridors

There was nothing official from half the AFCON players and the final selection date hadn't even passed. Many people thought Benrahma was going for Algeria and that Kudus was going to be allowed to play an extra game for West Ham. Both were incorrect. Onana came out last minute and said he'd play for Man U, fly to join Cameroon and play their fixture the next day.

My point being, things happen. The AFCON players should've never flagged. FPL HAVE to get their consistency on point. We rarely see players stretchered off these days without it being something serious. If you can't leave the pitch of your own volition it screams problem/issue/bad injury. He needs to be red flagged, especially with the volatility of the price changes in players this season.

FPL is the most inconsistent fantasy game out there, whether its price rises, falls, servers struggling, assists being randomly given/taken, what makes you think they will be consistent with the flagging?

They even promised a new format in pre season then just totally didnt bother announcing anything

They are a good example of a business trying to attract as many new customers as possible whilst at the same time alienating their existing customers.

What are people's thoughts about getting rid of Haaland after GW26 to accommodate all the premium mids and mid priced forwards? Can always get him back on WC after GW29

      Rather lose KDB.

      On Wildcard I can easily have;

      Salah, Son, Saka, Gordon, Palmer
      Haaland, Solanke

        Haaland, Watkins,Solanke

is doable without WC for me for gw30.

I guess the fixture run is basically the same as when people tried that last time, but in making WC drafts I found it easier than expected to accommodate Salah, Son, Saka, Haaland and even Trent if I want, so I don't really see as much budgetary pressure now. Unless you're planning to keep KDB? But I just think longer-term his rests might be an issue

    Thoughts on move?

-4 for a mid or fwd depending on Darwin/Jota update?

Don’t think Burn gets any points & need to get rid when spare FT.

    Flekken
Van Heke, Saliba, Ake, Gabriel, Burn,
    Saka, KDB, Gordon
    Watkins, Haaland

    Dubravka, Palmer, Darwin, Jota,

    3.7

Pretty sure I am selling Jota for DLuiz/Bailey, and I'm contemplating selling Estu since he hasn't been starting and appears to fall out of favour. What's his best replacement for a -4?

    1) Moreno (plays in 29)
    2) Pau (plays in 29)
    3) RAN (good fixtures 26-28)
    4) Senesi (plays City in 26, but doubles in 28)
    5) Take Estu's 1-pointer

  15. Mother Farke

Pau is "safer" as Moreno has the threat of rotation with Digne. I say that as a Moreno owner btw.

I take it there were no airport spots or pics of Haaland today?

Trust it's game on for tomorrow.

Shame for Jota, 2 months out so not season ending.

Salah sounds like he might be benched again for half an hour or so, but Nunez should be fit to start.

Of course, Salah could start or miss out completely but I reckon he could be benched again.

Strange. I have 95% template rating, but my starting XI is unique, literally one in a million. Having not taken -4 (and booked another -4) to get Saka for Garnacho perhaps the main reason. It went as I feared 🙁

SofaScore will have them by competitive.

I have seen a few people so it a week or so ago but nothing to hand.

The odds partly go out of the window come the cup knockout, I'd expect at least one shock and another fixture to appear.

Yeah absolutely it’s anyone’s game, just trying to get as comfortable as I can with this weeks transfer decision as I can. It’s between United and Wolves while trying to avoid FH in 29
