    Pickford
Gabriel | Reguilon | Van Hecke
    Salah | Saka | Richarlison | Son
    Haaland | Watkins | Solanke

    Dubravka | Palmer | Doughty | Baldock

With 0ITB and FT used what will be your strategy? Can do without FH in 29?

Yea you can get to 29
without a chip quite easily, is Salah and Solanke fit?

Are there any changes that you would make to this WC team

    Areola Leno

    Senescing Saliba Doughty Romero Moreno

    Son Bowen Maddison Saka Barkley

    Watkins Haaland Morris

    0.5 ITB

    4 28 DGWers
    10 29 BGWers (11 with 1 FT)
    34 FH

    Any ideas would be welcomed

Not really - I can see what you're doing if you're going for the WC now, it's just not going be my tactics. In terms of tweaks though, I'd go Gabriel over Saliba and Rich over Maddison to give me more ITB for what I think are possibly better options.

My Team is looking pretty strong across the board. I am not playing a chip in 29.

Who is the better option this week?

    A) Son
    B) Palmer

A is the bandwagon, but I have both

Son looks good until Salah comes back, plus he has a gw29 fixture

Anyone taking a punt on Conor Bradley? He’s looked so good every time I’ve watched him play & Trent is out till the end of March. Nice differential?

    1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
      • 5 Years

I have him and am happy to have him but not sure I'd use an FT on bringing him in, he's looked good but he has less avenues to points than TAA and I could easily see him just getting 1-2pts in the next few games before TAA returns

      1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
        • 5 Years
        1 year, 10 months ago

He's also probably due a rest given he's started 4 games in 11 days, although he was subbed around 70 mins twice

I think Bradley and TAA should play. This allows TAA to maximize his skills in Midfield, makes TAA and Bradley "essentials"

Just because I think so, does not mean Klopp will do it

He's only defender I'm keeping on my WC. He could be good even beyond GW30 as I think the quote on Trent meant sometime after the IB, not necessarily GW30

Anyone else trying to just get through GW29 with as little change as possible and just resigning to taking a big risk of not performing well? I feel too much focus on surviving 29 is ultimately just taking focus from the other 11 GW left!

    1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
      • 5 Years

Think it's definitely worthwhile considering, losing the battle but winning the war and all that. But even trying to focus on the weeks around it and then leaving yourself too short in GW29 could go wrong if the main picks do well

Yes, I don't see enough talent to justify a free hit. You only need a few basics to get by.

As long as have the main threats for GW29 like Son, watkins, bowen Toney richarlison etc reckon should be fine for GW29

Defence is a mess this week and likely taking a hit....Who am i best bringing in, with a view to bgw29?

    A..senesi (8ycs, and 3 in his last 4)

    B....zabarnyi (no attacking threat)

    C....doughty (worse fixtures than bou)

D....no hit and start 2 of taylor, reguilon and estu

I wouldn’t take a hit this week. Not a great fixture for Luton..

Play Reg and Taylor and get Doughty/Senesi next week

this is probably a debate for week 30, but...

I'll field 8-9 in week 29 and then WC in week 30. Everyone I see talks about BB in 34 or 37. Is it crazy that I think i prefer to BB in 31, get it out of the way (4 good starts from cheaper options) and then use my moves/FH to be aggressive with my starters down the stretch. Optimizing 15 players for week 37 feels hard to me?

anyone else thinking about this strategy?

Not sure what "good enough" means here, but I think it's better this way than FHing as you could get more games/points later in the season (though I'm not expert on what's coming in the future). If one hit is worth it, so might 2 be, or 3 or 4. Just gotta consider if you want those players going forward and when you're going to WC if you haven't already.

Thanks. Will WC GW30 as I want to make the most of it. Don’t know if it is possible to FH29 and then wild card straight away but not seen that suggested. Guess it will cause too many issues down the line with future BGWs. Plan to bring in Richarlison or Maddison this week anyway and then judge the situation next week once again.

    Current lineup

    Kelleher
    Trippier Ake Gabriel
    KDB Saka Gross Gordon
    Haaland Darwin* Solanke*

    (Areola Porro* Garnacho Livramento)

A fair few flags and a way off a decent FH29 team. Not sure what to do

    A) WC
    B) KDB to Son
    C) Darwin to Watkins
    D) Trippier to Regs, Garnacho to Son (-4)

I'm leaning to keeping KDB against United and then reassessing WC28 or FH29

I'd do C but wait for news on Darwin and Solanke. I also think I'm keeping KDB one more week. I think you have to FH in 29 as I think you only have 2 players for it currently.
