        Difficult one
        Are you retaining Haaland?
KDB can be a great differential at the end of the season
        A is better on paper

    On WC, BB37
Which midfielders are essential for the rest of the season?

    Got the same dilemma.

If I keep Saka, Son and Salah I have a crap bench. None of them are really in any kind of form right now and Spurs fixtures are horrendous.

I may downgrade. Son to Madders or Brennan Johnson.

That would give me: Saka, Salah, Palmer, Foden, Johnson/Maddison.

I'm tempted to drop both Saka and Salah. Neither has form of fixtures and someone like Fernandes has both

Planned WC to get Spurs and Chelsea in GW35. On the other side already have Palmer, Gusto, Son and Porro. Just adding Maddison and/or Jackson will be enough and save WC for GW36 makes sense?

Depends on the rest of your team and difference between WC35 and 36 drafts

Team is totally fine for GW35. Just think GW36 WC would allow me not to overthink on Spurs/Chelsea players and keep only Palmer and/or Son probably

Sounds like you were on FH34 if you were able to keep 4 Chelsea/Spurs

Without knowing the rest of your team, delaying the WC as you are already pretty much setup with Chelsea/Spurs seems fine

            Yes I was on FH

            Neto
            Gabriel Porro Gusto
            Son Palmer Saka Salah
            Haaland Toney Solanke

            Kelleher Van Hecke Barkley Bradley

Toney to Jackson my thought if he avoids 10th YC

Jeez, I don't think I've ever had a wildcard that involves such a radical overhaul of my team; I'll probably be making 13 or 14 changes to get to where I want to be for the last 4 GW's of the season. It's definitely an excellent opportunity for us chasers to turn things on their head within sight of the finishing post.

    1. Tonyawesome69

There are still folks who think playing the WC with only 4GWs left is too late and not gaining the full advantage of the chip...

      • 14 Years

It's all relative. How many points are you chasing, how many of your WC team do the non-WCs already have.

Does 14 changes mean you're going or have gone without Palmer, Foden, Haaland, Isak, Saka, Arsenal defender etc?

        This

        It could well be pivotal

It will seem like everyone is wildcarding on here but plenty went around gw30 or in the New Year so there's an alternative to what will appear to be the template.

So that's good to have that edge.

Alternatively you might end up ditching lots of the top players from the clubs still competing to win something?

I FH in 34 and am reaping the differential rewards as a result since no one in my league used anything else except BB. For 35 I have 5 Spurs/Chelsea players already and for GW 37 I have 10 doublers, only using free transfers - I am sceptical of how much there is to gain over my team by those who WC in GW 35.

    Current team
    Dubravka
    Gabriel Maguire Gusto
    Salah Son Gordon Palmer
    Haaland Isak Muniz
    Turner Soucek RAN C.Richards

    4.5 ITB, 0 FT, WC available, BB37

    A. Save WC
    B. WC
    C. Soucek > Foden for -4 and bench Muniz
    D. Any other suggestion please

    Thanks

I think I’m pretty clear on most of my WC but the strikers are a problem, especially if Haaland is out. I was thinking of Højlund but his stats look awful. However Werner’s look pretty good.

How does Isak Werner Haaland/Watkins look as a front line?

Yes I meant to mention Jackson; as you say, he’s unreliable and think he’ll be a regret in no time.

Depends how long he is out for, could solve a benching headache if only 1GW.

If out longer, pretty much sets my front 3 as Isak, Jackson and Pedro.

Ah yes I forgot Pedro. He was my early season punt; it would be good to have him back.

You’re right about Haaland, his injury could be fortuitously timed. Hate waiting but it’s a wait and see I guess

Wildcard active. Bench boost handy for 37. Structure looks like 3 from each of Man City, Man Utd, Newcastle, Spurs and Chelsea. Real benching headache for 35.

      First go at wc:

      Petrovic / Onana
      Gusto / Schar / Udogie / Porro / Gvardiol
      Foden / Bruno / Son / Gordon / Palmer
      Isak / Haaland / Hojlund

Don't like double spurs defence but struggling for free slots elsewhere

I'm not sure I'd bother with a Spurs defender. Leaky defence with tough fixtures. I'd probably replace them with an Arsenal defender who you'd certainly want for 36 and 38

On the keepers and maybe AWB.

I would keep the money in the bank which can go towards getting Saka or Salah in GW38. In fact downgrading Schar and AWB to Burn and Maguire would make it even easier.
