What about BB gw1 and wc gw2?

It's a reasonable strategy. Get the BB done. Maybe doesn't have to be WC2 locked in. Wait and see how your GW1 picks do and what bandwagons emerge...

the only thing stopping me from BB gw1 is i cant find and extra 0.5 to make sure both keepers play, ive tried and tried and tried

I think it's better to hold off the wc until gw4, or after the transfer window closes

I'd probably just go Henderson / Flekken on GW1 BB.

I'm actually planning BB3. All my players have good fixtures that GW and I like starting with a deep squad.

Question regarding wildcard and transfers.. if I do not use any transfers in gw 2 and gw 3 then wildcard in gw4, how many Fts will I have in gw5? 3 or 4?

      3 I reckon

Up until now, you've only been able to bank two free transfers. Well, if you want to be patient and plan ahead, you can now accumulate up to FIVE free transfers. On top of that, when you play the Wildcard and Free Hit chips, your saved transfers will no longer reset to zero.

I love my deadending punts though, and tend to chop/change quite wildly in the first few weeks (probably even more so this year).

Hopefully I can make more use of it in the latter stages of the season. I do see the value of stacking them & think I'll try to maintain a full playing (outfield) squad to minimise wasting FTs on YC suspensions & minor knocks

          1. ᶠᶦˡᵗʰʸLucre $$$
            • 11 Years
            1 year, 4 months ago

Yes, dead ending used to be the only option when a WC was imminent, but now possibly having 2+ FTs immediately after a WC opens up other possibilities. This may even be more significant than the ability to save up to 5 FT, which I doubt will be utilised too much.

I'll probably take that Bruno punt early on. Solid early fixtures where he plays as a false 9 until Hojlund recovers or Zirkzee gains minutes. Proper talisman, on pens, full 90mins guaranteed. I'll reasess Solanke after first couple of games

Been quiet murmurs all summer that Diaz has been angling for a move away and Liverpool and has burnt bridges at the club and the hierarchy are still keen on Gordon. I've never been keen on Diaz but he is just a no-go IMO and also adds a degree of risk to Gordon. I still have him but contemplating other options

Need help on 4 selections, any suggestions on which way?

    Pope / Gvardiol / ESR / Rogers

    or

    Henderson / Porro / Eze / 4.5 mid

For me 4.5 mid is a no go. So A, but perhaps downgrade ESR to Adam or Bobb, and upgrade Pope to Raya?

I think ‘when to wildcard’ is clear with my team, start without Salah & have Jota/Trent instead, if that backfires (which I doubt) fix it before around GW4 & commit to the Salah/Haaland structure.

I don’t think there will be much between Salah & Saka which means that 2.5 mil saving should make the non Salah team more stronger to compensate.

Garnacho, Bailey or Nkunku for the 6.5m spot?

The rest of the offensive is:

    Saka, Jota, ESR, CHO
    Haaland, Isak, Solanke

    Which would you choose?

    A) Bruno/Saka/Diogo J
    B) Nkunku/Eze/Salah
