Ooooft! Can afford Isak + Mbeumo > Jackson + Saka for exact funds. Not gonna do it but damn those alluring exact money scenarios.

Really? Surely I can’t boot out Mbuemo before that LEI game? He is more wider now though I guess.

Isak i simply love having in my team, Jackson with 4 yellows.
Also have Son who I could easily shift to Saka but have a good feeling about him against Fulham, also not having to travel for midweek games like Saka does, but it would be nice to for both Son & Saka in.

I’d have to do it tonight or soon before Jackson’s price rise but at the same time I have to wait, injuries could happen midweek.

Hits and being aggressive has been working to be fair, 2.8m > 350k’ish within 4 GW’s since booting Haaland.
Shall have to consider this before the price changes.

No probs pal, I could go into many reasons why the omission of Haaland is viable, but I’m sure you already know them. Understand it’s tough removing him but he simply isn’t justifying the price tag, for example Jackson and a top mid like Saka is gonna outscore Haaland and someone like the Iwobi or Soucek.

It’s like 2-3 bites at the cherry instead of just one, and always having to feel obligated to captain Haaland every GW to justify the price.

Here I am going off on a tangent haha! Bottom line is remove him, I did 4 GW’s ago and the game has ignited into fun again, it’s awesome!

The thing is though even if he did pop off, the players you’ll of acquired will likely match or outscore him, just look at what Cunha and Pedro are doing for a fraction of the cost more or less. It just makes sense mate

lol you double counted like 3 players to get to 10.

Also Hall, Rogers are definitely not bench players. Also wouldn't be too fussed playing 1 of the 4.0m DEFs each week. So that brings you to 4 bench players.

It's still very tight but it's an upside team, high risk/high reward

Isak or Jackson? Jackson seems the popular choice but he’s 1 yellow off a ban. Isak gets 90 mins every game, could see Jackson getting a few early subs over festive period. On top of that Isak is more of a goalscorer / long term stats better

Still have my WC, will probably use it in GW18 to bring Haaland in for the fixtures. So I have 6 weeks left to take some risks, what moves would you do with this:

    1FTs & 1.5ITB
    Henderson
    TAA VVD Saliba
    Salah Palmer Mbuemo Rogers
    Wissa Isak Cunha

    Fabianski ESR Robinson Barco

      Looking at your team

      - No Saka is an issue
      - Henderson could be upgraded
      - Barco isn’t a great pick over the winter congested period, you need starters
      - Could do something with the three of Mbeumo, Rogers & ESR to concentrate more money in a single player, such as Mbeumo to Bruno or Saka

        Guess I'll toot ma thang:
Smooth 96 points. Bringing in the J-Ped this week was nicely timed.
Cons: City defence. Should I really keep plugging away with Gvardiol? I haven't offloaded Rico yet.
GWs 2-6 were solid reds, dropping me down to 2,2 Mil. Then I sold Haaland and got Salah. Run of 5 greenies.

    7. Deulofail

      Rough:

I benched Fabianski's clean sheet for Pope's 2-pointer. I have got this rotation wrong in all the 4GWs since Fabianski has been playing, costing me 15 points so far.

With 5FTs available for GW12's fixture swing, I had planned for weeks (or months?) to bring in Saka and Jackson, but decided to delay both transfers due to doubts over Saka's availability and because I ended up buying the unplanned Pedro and Isak already --in part, due to their prices rising. This left Wood as my Jackson makeweight, whom I decided to keep on the bench for Ipswich the following week. I was also swayed by the general consensus that City were going to run rampant against Spurs, so keeping Foden another week could pay dividends.

Unfortunately, Saka and Jackson hauled with 13 and 12 points respectively, while Foden and Rogers --who took Jackson's place with a nice home fixture to Palace-- blanked. Usually, I don't worry about transfers I don't make, but this was such a concrete plan that it feels like a true loss of 21 points. Isak also blanked, so with hindsight, I could have just got Jackson instead of him. Rubbing salt in the wound, Wood didn't start, adding some doubt over his odds for Ipswich.

I also delayed buying an Arsenal defender, despite having 2FTs to spare, because I had 3 defenders with good fixtures (Mazraoui, Robinson, Digne), but they ended up with only 3 points between them, while the Arsenal defenders I was eyeing got their expected 6 points.

I've already brought in Saka and Timber for GW13, so expect them to get injured this evening. And I'll probably plop for Calafiori before the deadline too. Jackson will come in next GW, assuming he's not suspended, so I look forward to bemoaning his GW13 haul, albeit without having planned to bring him in this time.

Finally ditched Haaland and it paid off. A green arrow after a -8 is very welcome. I feel I'm in a pretty good spot now to regain the rank I've lost. Lost about 40 points on the field over the last few weeks so it's a step in the right direction.

Wolves and Brighton deserve a lot more attention than they are getting right now, FPL-wise. I'd pick Mitoma, Mario, Pedro, Cunha over a ton of more expensive players including Chelsea and Newcastle. Avoid Isak

    1. have you seen cyan
      • 6 Years

They have exactly the right amount of coverage, maybe too much. Everyone is buying Pedro, and pretty much everyone has Cunha and Ait. Anymore is over-kill. Mitoma or a Brighton defender are possible options for some people.

No one wants double Brighton or Wolves attack. And Brighton have hardly been great in defence either. We only have Ait for his attacking threat, no Brighton defender offers that.

Naaah, Cunha is only like 16% owned. Wouldn't have any BHA defenders. But look at their fixtures for attack; SOU, full, lei- and coming off the back of two good wins.

Yea nice fixtures, but it is Brighton. Certain teams I would not double attack on. I rarely even go Spurs double attack and rate them considerably higher than Brighton on the attack metric.

People tried it with Brentford and maybe that worked out for some, but people scrambling to ditch Wissa now.

Don't tell me about Brentford haha I'm tripled with Mbeumo for a bit longer, Flekken and Carvalho warming the bench for no reason...

It might work out, I just think there are limited attacking spots and many options. It seems an unnecessary risk to me. The people who made the early move for Wissa to go with Bryan however did win big.

Go for it if you want, you should play how you want, and do what you think. No one is going to reinforce differential picks, they wouldn't be differential otherwise.

Never selling him! People are going to want him back soon and it'll be hard
