Very interesting... specially for people who own assets from these teams. So interesting, I'm happy I'm going out drinking tomorrow for the first time in like 6 months.

Does he have a Monk haircut? I think Palmer has a monk haircut, I can picture him in a brown robe.

Did okay at Derby although not sure how much of that was dependent on getting loan players from Chelsea.

2016? Keep. Pedro returns quite often, even if Conte prefers Willian in some games.
2024? Squad-dependent. Joao isn't expensive, rotation might be an option.
      2032?

69% of respondents think the goal should have stood. That's 69% of the people who pay the wages of all those officials getting less and less happy with what they are doing

All the talk should be about what a fabulous goal Soton scored. It was truly sublime, but English Football has been ruined, so we get to talk about ludicrously over-reaching officialdom instead

I wonder how much influence the Friday night fixture had on people capping Pedro.

Its quite tempting to cap someone in the lone Friday night fixture as it makes the game more interesting, and if you do well, you have the night to bask in your glory 😀

Subconsciously, or even consciously, this probably made Pedro cap more appealing to some people.

I never tend to captain the friday night fixture... i actually prefer the last GW fixtures - gives me something to look forward to, especially on a bad gameweek

I think on paper, Pedro was an ok captain pick if you didn't have Salah. A fair few people here capped him, I saw so many in the week talking about it.

The opposite for me, it sucks when your captain blanks before everyone else is yet to play
Especially when Salah playing in the form of his life at home to a Man City team that apparently just lost to the U18 team or something!
