The trick with worrying about missing the boat with certain players, as their prices increase, is to FFWD and imagine their values NEXT season.

Isak may well start at 9.0 or even 9.5 next year… and we’ll still buy him.

I reckon we'll have 4x uber premiums next year. They'll all be north of 12.5m

So Cunha good to go for another week then?

Picking a good Saka replacement is enough of a headache already. Still torn between Martinelli/Son/Bruno

I'm becoming increasingly tempted to let Saka sit on my bench, and use this GW to assess further. I'd have Enzo vs FUL coming off the bench, and I can stomach another 0.1 drop if it helps me make a more informed decision.

The question about Liverpool is doesnt Salah have 70% involvement in Liverpools goals this season? Is there that much upside in any of the others considering the risk?

I'm really not sure about Arsenal being a thrashing, Saka is a huge loss to how they play.

Probably an easier fixture for Darwin to start CF, between Diaz and Gakpo for LW. Gakpo has started LW in the last 5 league games. Don't know if Slot will factor the 5YCs into his selection

I'm guessing Jota - if his fitness is up to stratch - mainly based on Slot's previous comments about using Diaz up top when he doesn't want his CF to get into duels v opposition CBs and run in behind more, against Leverkusen/City/Fulham/Spurs. Think Leicester will be a very different type of game, and one in which he'd be looking to rotate substantially from the Spurs lineup. But it's certainly a stretch to say either are nailed & I know it's a punt

Thoughts? I’m taking out Greaves for TAA and a mid under 7.2. Would ideally like a solid bench but fancy a wee risk in place for Saka. Mid atm - Salah, Palmer, Bruno, Enzo, (saka) and I have a solid playing def and strk too.

    A) Sarr (free’s more funds for up top)
    B) Jota
    C) Martinelli
    D) other

Trossard missed one in CL earlier this season. Ode and Saka weren't on the pitch. Arteta was asked after the game, why didn't Havertz take it as he would've broken the club record on scoring in 6? consecutive home games. He said that Saka and Ode are the main pen takers and 2 or 3 others can take them as well. In the case above players decided between themselves on the pitch.

The foden train is actually equally annoying and hilarious.

Option 1 : Man City are awful you knew you would get burnt buying foden so it serves you right.

Option 2 : Man City had to turn it around eventually, look at this fixture run why oh why didn’t you get a Man City asset.

You know if you punt for foden option 1 is nailed on and if you don’t punt for foden option 2 is nailed on.

It’s why we love and hate fantasy football

Deviating from Saka - please choose one to play

    a) AWB (sou)
    b) Sell AWB for Munoz
    c) Play Harwood-Bellis (WHU)

    thanks

That's right, it's literally Wednesday here. Good luck in the Christmas Island league in the new year.

Was set on b but -4 to bring in isak doesn't seem worth it if cuna plays?

Who'd you be playing if you didn't buy Isak?

He doesn't have the greatest fixture, so you might get away with not owning him this week, provided you won't get priced out later.

Pedro and cunha and bench BJ

Keyboard will be like a plasterers radio after all the frivolities at the office Christmas party…

Lost a fair bit of ground by not owning Isak recently and I’m miles off it down at 2m OR. What would you do here?

    A) Just take the medicine, bring him in now
    B) Try something different (Havertz eg) and bring Isak in later

Get isak. Just because of effective ownership. Otherwise if he hauls again, it would be deadly

Yeah, thanks mate. Probably got to be done. Kicking myself for not doing it last week when I had the chance.

I'm wondering about Isak too. He's just played his best two fixtures already, so those points are sadly gone. I don't know if he's still the best going forward, or if Mateta or Jesus or Havertz or someone else may be better

The new chip looks good for the run-in, but if Liverpool get a double In GW24 then:

    GW24: Liverpool DGW
    GW25: Fulham bonus
    GW26: City bonus

    Could be good!

I think someone posted yesterday that GW25 is most likely for Liverpool's DGW - Wolves (H) & Everton (A).
