As we count down the days to Saturday’s Premier League kick-off, the Carlos Tevez – Sergio Aguero conundrum has become a major issue for Fantasy managers after the former’s scintillating strike and strong display against Chelsea in Sunday’s Community Shield.

Having looked at the City midfield area in Monday evening’s Technical Area piece, we now turn our attentions to the Argentine duo’s performance against the Blues but first of all, we use the Members Area Comparison Tool to gauge their respective displays over the final four Gameweeks of 2011/12 to look for the similarities within Roberto Mancini’s new formation:

    I've got two major concerns about the team below:

    1) Can't afford to replace Torres with Rooney
    2) No Man Utd players at all.

      DDG is ManU. TBH I wouldnt stress over the lack of attacking Man U cover, their are too many unknowns. I feel Valencia is the best bet so im bringing him in GW2. No Rooney/RVP does worry me too but I think I'll manage, worst comes to worst ill WC.

    So i'm going to WC game week 2 just for a change (thanks for idea tosey). might get some value + can swap Man City + Chelsea to United and Spurs. WC's are largely a curse in any event!

      tevez is too hard to ignore to start with..atm there is not 2.5 mil difference between him n aguero..i think aguero will out score tevez this season but carlos is the better option to start with for me until rotation kicks in
