    I have 3 FTs… this worth doing?

    Pickford, Amad & Gakpo
    ->
    Sa, Mbeumo & Cunha

    * Pickford to Sa is obviously to create the money for the other two, but it also helps me in BGW29 as my other keeper Verbruggen plans mci and Sa has sou. With Verbruggen’s fixtures in 26, 27 and 28 Pickford wouldnt be starting for me in any of those fixtures anyway.

    * Would need to do tonight as price changes would price me out…

Ok fixtures upto 29. He’s a differential. Depends what Bournemouth mids you already have.

Would you prefer Dango to Kluivert? I prefer Kluivert personally. Position and penalties give him the edge over Dango for me.

If you look at both players average position since Evabilson got injured, Kluivert is further forward and more central than Dango

    * Sorry for the duplicate posts. Need to make this decision before I go to bed and haven’t received any responses…

    Pickford, Amad & Gakpo

    Sa, Mbeumo & Cunha

    1. Boberella
      • 9 Years

Tough one. There’s a few considerations here:

      What are your bgw29 plans?
Have you got any Bournemouth attackers?
Does getting Cunha and an Amad replacement give you a benching headache?

Obviously losing Amad is a no brainer and there are great options at a lower price than Mbeumo.

I get Pickfords run from gw30 isn’t great (although you’d have verbruggen as cover anyway), but Pickford can get points against anyone and will probably end up highest scoring keeper for the season.

The Gakpo to Cunha move is a popular one, but 27&28 are great fixtures for Gakpo if he’s fit.

Think id just do Amad to someone this week and assess. Gakpo can be benched a week.

      1. boroie
        • 7 Years
        10 months, 9 days ago

Thanks for all your advice. Really helpful.

I plan to use FTs and dead end into GW29 and then WC30. Hence why I prefer Mbeumo more than the other cheaper options as Brentford have lovely fixtures for the next 4.

Already have Kluivert and just not convinced on having two Bournemouth attackers. Think I’d prefer to spread the risk hence going Kluivert, Mbeumo and Cunha.

I love the look of Gakpo’s fixtures but it’s just so hard to know with his mins. Could easily play 60-70 this weekend away to Man City, then rested against Newcastle and who knows what he gets in the Southampton game as they will have the Champions League first and second leg either side of that game. Just think someone like Cunha who will be guaranteed 90 mins every week is a better option right now.

Totally agree that Pickford could score points against anyone. The problem I have is that I have Verbruggen and when I compare Verbruggen and Pickford’s fixtures from GW26-28, I think I will be going for Verbruggen in all 3. Therefore it makes sense to use the money I can save on Pickford to improve the rest of my team whilst also getting a keeper who is playing Southampton the one week that I will need him.

The biggest issue issues I have with these transfers is the benching headache which you have pointed out. Making these changes will probably mean that I will be benching Rogers in CHE. But maybe having a strong bench could be important with games coming thick and fast.

This is my thinking anyway. Although as with everything in FT it will probably all work out horribly.

        1. Boberella
          • 9 Years
          10 months, 9 days ago

In that case, I would do the 3 moves and bench Rogers this week then. You have 3FTs and if you’re WCing in 30, then all makes sense.

A - Diaz likely only starts one of GW26 and 27 and both games are difficult games.

With the fixtures coming fast, and Champs League starting up again, best to go with players from Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford who will start every game.

If you can stretch to it, why not Kluivert and Mbeumo? 2 penalty takers.

I got both, but if I was over 2m I'd go Dango. If defending, Kluivert. Had Kluivert for a while and then added Dango last week

Risk with Kluivert is his long shots stop going in

If Dango starts putting more of his big chances away there is plenty of rank upside

Kluivert seems to be the key creater, rn, but both are getting assists

Tavernier coming back is said, by the podcasters, to threaten his minutes

Evanilson theatens Dango's position, but he looks a long way off returning. And, why replace a guy on form?

Emery owners staying put? So annoying to use FT’s on that mess of a chip

I’m sticking, even with spare transfers. Some Saturday night entertainment cheering on Villa v Chelsea. Plus I’ve got Watkins.

      I agree though, terrible chip.

yeah, think Villa have a pretty good chance against Chelsea (only thing is the Liverpool match might have taken a lot out of them physically + no Disasi vs Chels)

      Yeah probably.

Don’t think there is any team who is guaranteed a win this week. Arsenal at home to West Ham is probably the most likely. But even that has question marks, with the state of their front line right now and Potter’s effect on West Ham.

As for the position bonus teams, I just don’t like the look of any of them.

Imo Emery has as good a chance as anyone this week.

Am in the same situation and only one I'd think of changing to is Arteta. But it would be a -4 so likely won't do it

Is Dango as captain a bit mental?

    Who to bench out of:
    A) Castagne
    B) Munoz
    C) TAA

I’d probably go Castagne. Defo not TAA.
