It’s Gameweek 28 Scout Picks time as we nail down our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player selection for the next round of fixtures.

We deliberated over the Scout Squad submissions made by Sam, Marc, Tom and Neale before coming up with the final team.

As ever, certain restrictions limit our selection:

An £83.0m budget for our starting XI
An overall squad limit of £100.0m
No more than three players per team

GAMEWEEK 28 SCOUT PICKS

GOALKEEPER

The game’s third-highest scoring goalkeeper, Arsenal’s David Raya (£5.5m), gets the nod between the posts.

The Spaniard has been in fine form this season, keeping 10 clean sheets and conceding just 23 goals across his 27 Premier League appearances.

He’ll be facing a Manchester United side who have scored only seven goals in their last six matches and have the division’s sixth-lowest goal tally.

Arsenal kept out United in the reverse fixture, too.

    Roll if undecided. I agree that an FT in the bank for 29 is worth more than deliberating a WOL/MCI def this gw. There is possibly 0.2 TV in the balance though. I will move Hall to RAN - better potential & fixtures imo.
    
    As an aside; I note that you often post your team with an open question and then repost with a strategy. Is there a reason? I personally find I'm reticent to respond before you reason.

Was going to just save my FT but I wonder if I should sell Gakpo now?

If I move him on this week to, say, Strand Larsen or Wissa, I’d likely just sell Rogers for Kluivert next week and field 11.

If I save, it keeps my options a little more open to bring Haaland in for -4 next week. Is he worth it?

Currently I have 7 players for BGW29 blanks on GW29, excluding Cunha, Fab and 4.0 def. With only 1FT, do you think my only option is to FH BGW29?

How hard would it be to navigate 33 and 34 without the FH, if I also had BB and TC? Currently my FH29 plan would be to TC32, BB33, WC34. Only thing I'm thinking about is not a lot of time to capitalize on the WC potential with such a late WC

Guys I have a dilemma I'm hoping you can help solve:

I bought Lewis Hall for 4.5m at the beginning of the season, he's likely to drop tonight, and his selling price at the moment is 4.7m. If he does drop tonight, how badly will I be impacted? Will the selling price stay the same (if so I will keep him benched until next week when I sell him) or best to get rid now for a -4 for BGW player?
