We didn’t hear from the managers of Chelsea or Tottenham Hotspur before the Gameweek 30 deadline of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) – but we have now.

Enzo Maresca held his press conference on Wednesday morning, while Ange Postecoglou has been speaking to in-house media.

CHELSEA

Nicolas Jackson (hamstring), Cole Palmer (muscle) and Noni Madueke (hamstring) look set to return to action on Thursday night.

The trio were back in training over the international break, with Palmer returning from a much shorter-term absence than his two teammates.

“Cole is back, he is ok. He is better. Noni is better. Nico is better. They are all good.” – Enzo Maresca

“The reason why he was not with the international team is because, unfortunately for us, the day before Arsenal, he had a muscle problem that was not a big issue but didn’t allow him to play the Arsenal game and join the international team.

“We always say that going with the international team is the best thing for a player but overall, I think some days off for Cole and also for the rest was a good thing.” – Enzo Maresca on Cole Palmer

Romeo Lavia is a doubt with a “small problem”, meanwhile.

Marc Guiu (hamstring) and Omari Kellyman (hamstring) remain out, while Mykhailo Mudryk is still provisionally banned by the Football Association.

Maresca meanwhile said he would continue to manage Reece James‘ minutes carefully.

“I still think that we need to manage Reece, the reason why is because of the history. He is a player that you need to be careful with in this moment. We want him fit until the end [of the season], so the idea is to manage him to the end and then we see in the future if we can go every day, every day, every day. But in this moment, because we need Reece until the end [of the season], we will try to manage him and probably do exactly the same until the end.” – Enzo Maresca

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Ange Postecoglou confirmed that Kevin Danso (hamstring) and Dejan Kulusevski (foot) remain out ahead of the clash with Chelsea.

We may not see the pair till Gameweek 33, indeed.

“Kevin and Deki are working still, they’re probably still a couple of weeks away but both are progressing well.” – Ange Postecoglou

Thursday’s match may also come too soon for Richarlison (calf), who is at least back in training.

“Richy’s training with the group. Again, it’s about when we reintroduce him to the matchday squad but he’s training with the main training group, which is positive.” – Ange Postecoglou

Lucas Bergvall, who was suffering from illness while away with Sweden, is “fine”.

The Lilywhites also have no fresh injury concerns from over the international break.

Radu Dragusin (knee) is out for the season.

I have triple Palace and triple Newcastle. What result in the Brighton-Villa game tonight will ensure Emery has table bonus for the weekend?

Actually AV shouldn't win which wouldn't be a good prospect to bet on them winning against Forrest 3 days later

Would still fancy at least a draw at home which would mean a half decent return with table bonus regardless. Looks like Bournemouth winning and Villa not winning should do the trick.

Forest away score goals so CS is unlikely

What’s up with Kluivert? Didn’t notice his flag before deadline!

Iraola stated he had "some issues" related to fatigue. Should be OK but on WC I couldn't risk a flagged player.

F it. Might ship out Bissaka for somebody and BB 32 instead of 33.

Will bar me from TC Isak in 32, but can't bring myself to bench both Rogers (Southampton) and Neco (Everton) that GW.

will there be more teams that are unannouced yet to have dgw 32 other than palace and newcastle?

no don't think so, we are just waiting on the 33 confirmation and i expect another spanner in works from the premier league, after all they haven't been so predictable this season

Howe, Glasner or Emery for AM?

Glasner - could be 4 out of 5 matches with table bonus chance - depending on league positions after GW30 matches of course

I already have 3 Newcastle & 2 Crystal Palace so i'm basically committed to going Glasner at this point without using FT.

If NEW/CRY even get the 2xDGW, that is.

Its between those 3 for me and I will decide on Saturday. It is kind of fruitless to discuss it today not knowing about the table bonuses, recent form and injuries.

If Glasner has no TB against Bri and Emery has TB against Nfo, I’d be tempted to go Emery 31-> Glasner 32/33.

I’m also in the boat of 2 palace and set up for AM Glasner

Hope they make the reschedule announcement soon, need to ship out Munoz, Sarr, or Mateta to bring in Glasner....but which slot to release very much depends on who I want in for the DGW's.

e.g. Mateta>Watkins could be profitable vs Southampton GW31 and DGW33 (though needs a hit on Gabriel to release funds)
    Sarr>Rashford (hit on Gabriel again)
    Sarr>Rogers
    Munoz>someone I won't need til BB36.

I fear that also. The issue for me is that template is extremely strong. There are 4 CP players to choose from, Raya, Saka and Saliba, Gvardiol + Marmoush, and Salah in every team. Add Isak and Gordon/ Murphy and Burn/Trippier+Livra and the pool of players is very small. Even every bench is going to be almost same.

    How’s this WC looking?

    Raya Martinez
    Gvardiol Saliba Burn Munoz Digne
    Saka Salah Rogers Gordon Sarr
    Marmoush Isak Mateta

WC draft. 0.4itb. Thoughts? (For context, I have a lot of value tied up in Mbeumo)

    Raya Areola
    Timber Milenk Gvard Munoz Burn
    Salah Saka Eze Murphy Mbeumo
    Isak Wood Marmoush

    Howe/Emery 31-32
    Arteta/pep 33

    Anyone ?

All things considered Pep is the absolute worst option for 33

If u go with Emery U have to stick with him for 33.

Desperately need premier league to come up with something out of the box like ars palace in 36 or forest Brentford in 33

Stuck in a situation with with only 2 city and 2 palace from the 4 teams likely to double in 33 all thanks to the Haaland injury.

For those with FH still left, are U considering FH 33? Might have to go down that road without arsenal and villa in the team

It's a really tough situation across the board. I was already on WC before the Haaland injury. I had kept Salah and Isak to retain their value, thus allowing me to have Haaland as well, plus a strong squad with everyone playing. Now I have no Haaland, but a strong squad of players that everyone else has. Probably the only benefit now is having Gordon over Murphy. Not ideal!

If i play AM from 31-33, can i also play bench boost in 33?

I basically have bench boost, AM and FH left, so i'm working out when i can play them all

In the end you did better though. We got two kicks to teeth, you only one, even though bigger one. Gabriel injury costs basically 4 pts for those who don't play WC this week.

Could they alternative WC BB strategy? Has anyone been able to find something. Every man and his dog is playing WC now and relies on triple Newcastle and triple CP. Newcastle dgw looks nice, but CP might easily struggle. There is going to be another dgw and last gw is going to be probably high scoring again. In order to chase successfully template should fail and some punts work. However, slim pickings. My team doesn't look awful going forward, but bench is certainly an issue. (I already regret not selling Palmer and losing 0.1 TV with him today.)

    Raya / Zych*
    Gabriel*, Kerkez(*), Muñoz, RAN, Robinson*
    Salah, Saka, Palmer, Elanga(*), Kluivert(*)
    Marmoush, Isak, Evanilson
