The 2024/25 UEFA Champions League (UCL) returns on Tuesday with Matchday 14 – and so does the competition’s official Fantasy game.

Ahead of the deadline, we’ve got a team reveal from Louis (FPL Reactions), our resident European football expert who co-hosts the official UCL Fantasy podcast.

GOALKEEPERS

UEFA Champions League (UCL) Fantasy: Scout Picks Matchday 11 1

Between the sticks, I still have just one playing goalkeeper, as the eliminated Alisson Becker continues to rot on the bench. My playing goalkeeper is Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel (€5.0m), though he has an unconvincing home fixture against Barcelona. Then again, if he doesn’t keep a clean sheet, he could rack up some save points, as I expect him to be plastered with shots.

DEFENDERS

UCL Fantasy Matchday 14: FPL Reactions’ team reveal 1

At the back, my Paris Saint-Germain double-up of Achraf Hakimi (€5.7m) and Nuno Mendes (€5.8m) remains strong, even with an away game at Aston Villa.

Currently, I have just one Inter defender, Benjamin Pavard (€5.0m). He should start again. Arguably, the most questionable part of my team is a Bayern pairing of Raphael Guerreiro (€4.7m) and Kim Min-jae (€5.2m).

Which would you start on a FH33 (alongside the template Saliba/Gvardiol)

    A) Munoz (BOU, ars)
    B) Bradley (lei)

Do we think KDB starts both games in 33 with FA Cup semi next weekend?

      Probably not

Unless Pep decides to give him a final lap so to speak...

      It's impossible to know.

He's obviously in a good place at the moment with his fitness, managed near enough 3 90's in a row now and that came after 2 starts on international duty for Belgium but they were all pretty much a week apart bar the Belgium games (didn't play 90 in both) rather than 3 games in around a week which this run will be.

Just going back through his appearance data for similar busy runs of games this season:
        Jan/Feb:
        90 vs Brentford (a),
        5 days later 62 vs Ipswich (a),
        3 days later 69 vs PSG (a),
        3 days later 17 vs Chelsea (H),
4 days later 80 vs Club Brugge (H),
        4 days later 19 vs Arsenal (A)
6 days later 19 vs Leyton Orient FA Cup (A),
3 days later 83 vs Real Madrid (H)

So in that run which lasted around 4 weeks he started 5 of the 8 matches and got over an hour in them all, probably would have been benched for Leyton Orient anyway so wouldn't read much into that one. I think he'll start all 3 games if he's able to over 33/FA Cup but he'll be mins managed.

I wish these CCs giving Saka 70%-80% chance of starting both in DGW33 were bookies. 🙁

      You think it's less?

I've seen clips where people throw around terms like I can't guarantee it.

It means they are not convinced but they are acting like Arteta, the only person who can actually guarantee it along with the players fitness.

I'd have made it the opposite if anything. 20-30% chance of starting both

Obviously nobody has a clue we're all just plucking numbers out of the air

Yeah, we're all guessing, but let's face it:
        16.04 rma
        20.04 ips
        23.04 CRY

70-80% to start all 3 is extremely optimistic.
Even if he doesn't start the Real game, to start 2 games in 4 days is very, very optimistic.
Odegaard played 19' and 28' in the last 2 PL games.

Kerkez might be okay away at Palace.

Gotta punt on Savinho starting in his doubles.

Murphy to a Villa midfielder and possibly Livra to Bradley or a dgw defender?

There is a case to sell Kerkez too with the upcoming fixtures but he does provide routes to points.

I think I would do these moves. Nothing worth.a hit imo

Thanks mate. Pretty set on Murphy > rogers. Livra to Bradley seems a decent option as well. Undecided on kerkez > konsa for a hit. There could be quite a few hits been taken for the double so a hit could be worth it. Konsas fixtures are tough though.

Might depend what you are doing in 34. I wouldn't be selling the Newcastle assets with 34 in mind but if you were FHing in 34 I might be more inclined to.
