We’ve already looked at how different last season’s points totals would’ve been had 2025/26’s new defensive contribution (DC) points, assist rules and bonus point tweaks been around.

Following on from this, we’ve made further adjustments to the 11 players who’ve had their Fantasy Premier League (FPL) position changed.

This is all thanks to the remarkable talent and work rate of TopMarx – much appreciated, as always!

Comparing old position vs new position but throwing DC points in on the new position side is most unhelpful! Can no longer see the effect of the position change, undermining the purpose of the article.
