As part of the tech upgrades this summer, we launched The Captaincy Matrix overnight.
The Captaincy Matrix is powered by Rate My Team (RMT), with the aim of providing members with a visualisation of the best captain for every club each week.

How it works
The Captaincy Matrix will update automatically every time we run an update on RMT.
As you can see from the Gameweek 1 Matrix, there are several players rumoured to be moving away from their clubs. This is something that we don’t factor into RMT until closer to the deadline.
Therefore, for example, Son Heung-Min (£8.5m) has been playing for Tottenham Hotspur in pre-season, so he currently has the highest projected points for Spurs in Gameweek 1.
The same is also true of Alexander Isak (£10.5m) and Yoane Wissa (£7.5m). If they are unlikely to start for their current clubs closer to the Gameweek 1 deadline, then that will be updated in RMT and reflected in the Captaincy Matrix.
This tool will, like Team News and Projected Line-Ups, be ever evolving to react to the latest news.
We aren’t finished yet!
This summer has been a busy one for us here at FFScout as we have looked to improve all areas of your membership offering.
Next week, we will have even more tools and widgets going live!
