Mitoma > Kudus, knee jerk before price rise?

Feels like going for last week’s points vs. next weeks
MCI (A) completely different to BUR (H)
      Also the cursed early KO
I am interested in Kudus but feels like a low upside move this week vs others

        Fair, appreciate the insight.

You reckon ditching Wirtz would be greater upside?

Also remember to keep 0.5 in the bank to start next time, transfers > maxing out budget

Old news but. Reijnders 1+1 and such a great performance. 0 baps. This must be the most ridiculous 0 bap performance given he had 1+1 and nobody got more returns.

Did anyone else start with Salah and Haaland? Only went ahead with it because of enabling triple spurs defense and Reijnders.
Feel very lucky Watkins blanked though.

Just Palmer, Joao Pedro and Sels left

Not as such, went Salah, Palmer and Saka (with a 9m forward)

With Saka you’re so well setup for next week!

That was my thinking tbh, went Saka & Gyokeres mainly for next week, it’s easier to do on the Bb as I had extra players for better GW1 fixs.

I went with both through laziness as I'm fining it hard to care about the game this year.

I started with Salah & Haaland.
Same as I did last season.
Also had room for Watkins & Palmer .

I’ve gone for the threemium as well. Hoping defcon for cheaper midfielders and defenders will come through. Reijnders a gift too.

Not one to knee jerk but feel like playing the game differently this year.. it’s all about the fun!

So would you do a -4 for:
    A) Wirtz & Watkins to Saka & Evanilson? Or
    B) Just Watkins to Gyokores?

I have Rogers and feel I’ve over loaded on Villa fwds.

So many good midfield options and strikers are crap. Bowen and Watkins overpriced and still in everyone's team because the alternatives are non existent.

i see 1 gameweek-itis already in full effect. 90 mins of football and theyre all useless.

Just my initial thoughts after tinkering with gw1 team and tinkering with wc again now. I begrudging went Bowen for gw1 even though 8m for a whu forward felt a waste of funds. Just so few options these days with how teams set up with attacking mids often the most dangerous players but strikers still carry a silly premium on prize and you need 3 of them in your team

    A)Rush to do Malen-> Reijnders
    B) hold and see if anything is urgent later into next week

    Team for gw2
    Sanchez
    Virgil-murillo-Dorgu
    Salah-palmer-georginio-bruno-malen
    Watkins-j pedro
    (Dub-Esteve-guiu-VVD)

    Here's where I stand:

    Sels
    Porro Cucurella De Cuyper
    Rogers Wirtz Semenyo Palmer Reijnders
    Ekitike Haaland

    Dubravka Gudmundsson Guiu Konsa

    1.0m ITB

    - Konsa's RC has forced me to put Porro in v City away. Porro scored in the same fixture last season, but 9 times out of 10 playing a defender v City isn't a good idea. Probability suggests he'll concede.

    - I want to keep Konsa because I still think he's great value, albeit boring. His fixtures are good defensively after his suspension, even CRY without Eze appeals now.

    - Porro out for someone like Munoz/Gabriel?
    - Gudmundsson to Esteve/Reinildo? In hindsight, I made an error picking Gudmundsson to start with.

    Warm regards.

You don't sell Porro because 1 bad fixture. Don't you want him the following week?

I thought he was going to be on most set pieces, but Kudus generally got the lion's share so to speak. I don't really rate his fixtures defensively, and even Burnley caused problems today. The next CS i forsee is Wolves in GW6.

How did Porro do for attacking stats today? Were they impressive?

Is he worth the extra 1m based on them?

    1. Brosstan
      • 11 Years

Regardless of stats I'd say he passed the eye test for an attacking defender. Got in some promising positions.

He wasn't on most set pieces like a few anticipated. That said, he was a threat relatively speaking. Fixtures aren't good defensively now Burnley are out of the way. I'd rather have the extra 1.0m if I'm honest...

Looks overrated...not sure if he's taking set pieces as thought, not justifying 5.5m imo

After seeing Sunderland’s goals, I don’t think it will be long until Areola is back….first header especially he crawled across his line to try and save it 😆

Tough game away at somewhere like Sunderland where it was their first game back in the prem for years. Partly why I avoided Bowen, they have a better GW2 fixture
