The opening three Gameweeks of the 2025/26 campaign have sent many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers into the international break unexpectedly contemplating how many Everton attackers is too many Everton attackers.

From Jack Grealish (£6.7m) to Iliman Ndiaye (£6.5m) to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£5.0m), the Toffees – much-discussed in pre-season for their defensive potential – have looked uncharacteristically electric going forward, with the arrivals of Grealish and Dewsbury-Hall re-energising a team that looked stale in front of goal for much of last season.

With plenty of FPL bosses now activating Wildcards and Free Hits or considering doing so, we’ve taken a dive into the Members Area in the hopes of providing some useful data to inform your decisions with regards to choosing between Everton’s three most in-form attacking assets.

THE SEASON SO FAR

It’s two wins from three for David Moyes’ side so far from outings against Leeds United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Here are the passing maps and some key FPL stats from each of those matches.

GAMEWEEK 1

Everton looked set to hold off Leeds in Gameweek 1 before succumbing to a late and – depending on your allegiances – slightly dubious penalty, awarded for a handball on defensive contribution (DefCon) monster James Tarkowski (£5.5m).

The Toffees offered little in attack during that match, with Dewsbury-Hall and Ndiaye both playing 90 minutes but contributing zero shots between them and just one created chance each.

Grealish came off the bench for his debut and managed one shot, from inside the box.

GAMEWEEK 2

The second weekend of the season ended much more positively for the Toffees, who started Grealish on the left wing, Ndiaye on the right and Dewsbury-Hall as the ‘10’ in their 2-0 home win over Brighton. Ending the match with two assists – one for Ndiaye – plus the most advanced average position of Everton’s starting XI, Grealish created three total chances, contributed 11 DefCons and earned two bonus points, repeatedly linking up well with fellow summer newcomer Dewsbury-Hall down the left flank.

Grealish had one shot and Dewsbury-Hall didn’t manage any – but did rack up four created chances, including one Opta-defined ‘big chance’ – while Ndiaye, who lasted just over an hour, converted his one big chance when tapping in Grealish’s low cross.

GAMEWEEK 3

As seen in the Statsbomb passing network below, Grealish operated a little deeper in Gameweek 3’s 3-2 victory at Wolves but again registered two assists, the first a header leading to Beto’s (£5.4m) opener and the other for Dewsbury Hall, who drifted more towards the right flank this time and himself had earlier assisted Ndiaye’s close-range goal after receiving the ball from Grealish’s clever reverse pass.

As well as his assists, Grealish tallied eight penalty box touches and two shots from inside the area, one of which was tagged by Opta as a big chance. Ndiaye had another of those – assisted, as mentioned, by Dewsbury-Hall, who registered two big chances created in total and earned all three bonus points thanks to the Gameweek’s highest BPS score – with his only attempt of the game and scored it, as well as creating two more chances for his teammates.

Sweden manager on why he didn't play Isak:

'We would have loved to play him, everyone would want it. But since he only had three training sessions and no pre-season and of course no match time, the risk was too great to use him today.'

Asked if Isak could play against Kosovo on Monday, he said: 'Hopefully, hopefully, as a “game changer".'

      On WC..
      Who is the best pick:

      A) Cucurella
      B) Virgil
      C) Munoz

Going two premiums at the back. Other one is Gabriel.
Other question is, is Lacroix sufficient cover for Munoz? I know not as attacking but affordable.

Yeah. Lacroix is a DefCon and set piece threat monster. Munoz is very attacking but couldn't hit a barn door.

So nothing really in it between Virgil and Cucurella.
Can go both and just have Raya in goal and leave Gabriel out.

A cucu has improved massively and is a rich vein of form. He is taking alot of shots and getting up far more than virgil and has a long run of nice nice fixture ahead. Lacroix can cover munoz.

With at least 12mil at the back, what does the rest of your team look like?

          Here is my current draft:

          Pope

Gabriel - Virgil - Andersen - Munoz
- Senesi
          Salah - Wirtz - Semenyo - Stach - King

          Pedro - Mateta - Gyokeres

Still need to decide on Wirtz position.
2 of Stach, King or KDH
And defence - Virgil or Cucu

Calafiori this seasom looks key to how Artetas got the Arsenal playing. In my eyes he looks set to match Whites points tally from the season before last. Looks first choice to me, but yeah, UCL affects every player any given game.
        Except Salah.

I was thinking the same. Arteta views him as first choice and it has only been fitness holding him back in past seasons.

Yes, looks to be a key player in their otherwise cautious attack. He is getting forward so much. I got him in on WC last night before the price rise. I do think there he may get hooked on 70 mins at times, but not a bad thing if it bags the clean sheet. Post game week 7 he could be very popular and easy switch to Munoz if it goes wrong.

@fplvirgin The only reason arteta would view him as first choice is because he is white as MLS is by far the better player.
Saliba, Gabriel and timber are the def worth having

I do not plan to WC this (1FT), but wondering other opinions whether I should consider it:

      Sanchez
      Lacroix Romero Diouf
      Salah [C] Gakpo Ndiaye Rogers
      Pedro Watkins Wood

      Dubravka Sarr* Milenkovic De Cuyper

Otherwise Sarr > Barnes/Enzo/Kudus and bench Wood?

I'm really tempted to take a punt on Kolo Muani, especially looking at Spurs favourable fixture run, but unsure if he'll start immediately.

        What do you reckon?

        a) Mateta
        b) Kolo Muani + 0.5M

Has any considered that with eze gone and sarr injured, who will actually supply mateta?
Munoz feom the wing and then..kamada? Pino? Dont rate either of them.

Kolo muani with kudus, xavi, johnson, porro, spence and good fixtures might be the better option but Richy is likely to start so kolo's game time will be limited initially. Would be surprised in a world cup year if his deal did not stipulate him playing regularly enough to make the french squad

I didn't bring in Wood before the plum looking West Ham game for this reason, plus the fact that Wood is one of four strikers Forest have got now
              He's got 78 minutes GW1 then 87, and the latest in GW3 is 72
If I had him, I'd be worried about Betis being between Burnley & Sunderland

Posted this penalty merchant Salah/Haaland draft a few days ago and haven’t looked at it again until now. What are your thoughts?
6/8 attack on pens plus Grealish and Pedro

            Raya
            Caliaflori, Guehi, Senesi, Tosin, Gudmundsson
Salah, Grealish, Enzo, Paqueta, Le Fee
            Haaland, Pedro, Mateta

Grealish,LeFee and Enzo won’t be on penalties though. The latter two only took last week because the first choice wasn’t on the pitch.

              It’s a good team though.

True, Palmer back on pens once he returns. I didn’t realise Le Fee wasn’t on pens, I thought he took them last season on occasion too. Good shout on Ndiaye

Ndiaye over Grealish if looking for a penalty takers.
