Welcome to the Fantasy Football Scout mini-leagues and community competitions round-up after Gameweek 3, including the latest news from Last Man Standing, the Head-to-Head Leagues, the Live Hall of Fame and many other community divisions.

FFSCOUT OPEN-TO-ALL LEAGUE

David Ng’ang’a is the new leader of our Fantasy Football Scout mini-league (code ql9e6k) and he’s 155th overall.

83 points came from a Gameweek 1 Bench Boost, thanks to the double-digit scores of Hugo Ekitike (£8.7m), Tijani Reijnders (£5.7m) and Mohammed Kudus (£6.6m).

Gameweek 2 was chipless, but heralded 97 points from Jurrien Timber’s (£5.6m) mega-haul, together with successful João Pedro (£7.7m) and Cody Gakpo (£7.7m) outings.

Then, Gameweek 3 involved a Free Hit, bringing in 64 from names like Jack Grealish (£6.7m), but still keeping Marcos Senesi’s (£4.6m) 14 points stranded on the sidelines.

Announced as one of several Scout prizes throughout this campaign, the mini-league’s leading registered Scout account after Gameweek 3 wins £50 cash.

FFSCOUT COMMUNITY MEMBERS LEAGUE

Michael Byrne is the new name on top of our Fantasy Football Scout Members mini-league. 962nd overall, he’s another to follow a Gameweek 1 Bench Boost with a Gameweek 3 Free Hit.

This is open to anyone with an FFS account, the code to paste being found when clicking ‘View League Codes’ on the signed-in FFS Home Page.

LAST MAN STANDING

The safety score for Gameweek 3 in TorresMagic’s Last Man Standing competition (code skotto) was 32 after hits, with 75 teams eliminated.

It means that 1,265 are going through to Gameweek 4, including the joint-best Irshaad Hassim and Peter Cameron.

Irshaad had double-digit hauls from Marc Guehi (£4.6m), Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£5.0m) and El Hadji Malick Diouf (£4.5m), while Peter only had one – from captain Bruno Fernandes (£9.0m) – but saw fewer of his players blank.

The doors for entering have briefly reopened, where new participants need to have recorded scores of at least 41, 32 and 32 (in order). The LMS leaderboard shows the highest scores after taking all points hits into account, as well as the teams inside the danger zone.

FFS HEAD-TO-HEAD LEAGUES

Although the closing date for entering MIR’s FFS Head-to-Head Leagues was extended to the Gameweek 3 deadline, no leagues and fixtures have yet been drawn at the time of writing. So don’t leave the Entry League.

Once decided, the fixtures will be backdated to start in Gameweek 1, which reveals our first three results.

FFS HALL OF FAME

The Live Hall of Fame was updated again on Monday and is now based on results until the end of Gameweek 3 but, unlike the Career Hall of Fame, it can only be viewed by Chief Scouts (premium members).

54,513 managers participating in our Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Scout Members mini-leagues are now ranked in the live version.

The top managers (with their Career Hall of Fame positions and Gameweek 3 chip in brackets) are as follows:

  • 1st (1st) Ben Crellin (Overall Rank 6.21m)
  • 2nd (2nd) Tom Dollimore (OR 4.90m)
  • 3rd (4th) John Walsh (OR 3.88m)
  • 4th (3rd) Abinav C (OR 5.55m)
  • 5th (5th) elevenify.com (Wildcard, OR 4.32m)
  • 6th (-) Harry Daniels (OR 3.21m)
  • 7th (8th) Fábio Borges (Free Hit, OR 4.83m)
  • 8th (6th) Rob Mayes (OR 5.74m)
  • 9th (7th) Gideon Moss (OR 5.90m)
  • 10th (27th) Simon MacNair (Bench Boost, OR 916k)
  • 11th (-) Sindre Askeland (OR 1.79m)

Since the Gameweek 2 update, John Walsh, Fábio Borges and Rob Mayes have each moved up a place. Simon MacNair (who came 440th in 2021/22 and recorded four earlier top 7k finishes) has replaced Sindre Askeland in the top 10.

A couple of Career Hall of Fame top 10ers are no longer that high in the live version.

  • 12th (9th) Michael Giovanni (OR 6.512m)
  • 17th (10th) Łukasz Woźniak (OR 6.512m)

The only other leaders featured in this article ranked in the top thousand of the Live Hall of Fame are Peter Cameron (121st) and Johnny Brosnan (135th).

MODS & CONS

Meanwhile, Chris Atkinson (RMT Professor) is leading the FFScout Mods & Cons mini-league, having Bench Boosted and then Wildcarded in Gameweeks 1 and 2.

61st in 2010/11, he’s had another three top 6k finishes since then.

Petter Falk remains in control of the FFScout Family mini-league for a second week.

Back to Chris Atkinson, he’s the new leader of Livinginapool’s Top 100 Any Season mini-league (code 5xdeje).

The teams listed in between (not shown here) have never finished anywhere near the top 100.

FPL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

2012/13 FPL Champion Matthew Martyniak is top of the pile for a third week in Simon March’s FPL Champions League after following his Triple Captain and Wildcard activations with a Free Hit – an unusual sequence.

HALL OF FAME TOP 1K

Johnny Brosnan leads for a third week in ChabsHall of Fame Top 1k mini-league (code 2c2m2q).

This league is only for teams in the top thousand of the Career Hall of Fame.

FPL VETS

Stephen Kovassy is in first place of Skooldaze’s FPL Vets 2006 or before mini-league. He came 4,966th in 2016/17.

This league is only for teams whose FPL history goes back to the 2006/07 season.

OPENING DAY LEAGUE

Ben Broadhurst is the new leader of my Opening Day League after following his Bench Boost and Free Hit by Triple Captaining Fernandes. He ranked 9,119th in 2014/15.

THE NEXT GREAT AND GOOD

Elsewhere, Jan Remi Nilsen has reached the summit of Greyhead’s The Next Great and Good mini-league. He came 4,163rd in 2022/23.

Level on points is Kaizad Ghadialy, but it’s a team that has made more transfers.

BEAT THE FFSCOUT/PFT XI

Martin King is the new leader of the Beat the FFScout/PFT XI mini-league after playing his Bench Boost.

The Scout community team (Scout PFT) is back up to 83rd place.

NO SALAH, NO HAALAND

Saba Bendianishvili is the number one manager in FPL General’s No Salah No Haaland mini-league (code vnwit5) and has risen to 1,851st after following the Gameweek 2 Bench Boost by Triple Captaining Fernandes.

HALL OF SHAME TOURNEY

Finally, Abdalrahman Faris remains in pole position of The Knights Template’s Hall of Shame Tourney (code vqc49y).

Placed 4,777th overall, this is another who used a Free Hit in Gameweek 3.

    Thanks for publishing.
Abdulrahman Faris is the new leader of the Hall of Shame Tourney, so he didn't 'remain in pole position'.

The article as published omits the fact that Peter Cameron (the LMS joint top scorer) has finished in the top 8k in both of the last two seasons.

Also, the opening paragraph should read '... and many community mini-leagues' (not '...and many other community divisions').
It is supposed to refer to the 17 mini-leagues featured in the article, not to the Divisions of the FFS Head-to-Head Leagues (which haven't been drawn yet).

David Ng'ang'a should email support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk to claim his £50 cash prize for topping the Fantasy Football Scout mini-league after Gameweek 3.
If he does not come forward to claim his prize or had not registered his FFS account before the Gameweek 1 deadline then the prize will not be awarded - the statement in the article as published that it would then go to the leading registered Scout account was incorrect.
