I thought Giroud was poor. Little movement, no confidence or authority to demand that ball or go and fight for it which is the minimum you'd expect from a big centre forward. But it's his first game, he'll improve. Podolski, for a supposedly unfit player looked better.

How did they allocate bonus points for Arsenal v Sunderland? Honestly I though Cuellar was man of the match. How did Vermaelen and Jenkinson get 2 points apiece when Sunderland barely threatened the Arsenal defence. McClean only made a few breaks, maybe got 3 points for his defensive work? Cazorla and Gervinho seemed more deserving than Vermaelen and Jenkinson. But nearly all of that busy Sunderland back 4 deserved the bonus points for keeping a clean sheet. Baffling:-(

Once Friedal got 3 BP because he was slightly injured and he couldn't take long goal kicks. He just passed it short to the RB and got high PPI because of completed forward passes.

Dzeko was absolutely useless. A traffic bollard would've been more useful. Yeah he scored but it was a sitter from point blank. Tevez on the other hand looked quite sharp, won a penalty and scored a goal.
