With the game between Fulham and West Ham at 12pm, today’s Matchday Surgery has turned into an early Dugout Discussion. It’s essentially the same thing however, just follow this link to our chatroom for pre-deadline discussion.

I’ve no team news to bring you yet for the game at Craven Cottage, but unfortunately I do have a couple of postponements to notify you of…

  • Blackpool Vs. Liverpool – OFF

It was always going to be the most likely Premier League game to fall foul of the weather, and that has proved true. A frozen Bloomfield Road pitch is once again responsible for the postponement.

  • Everton Vs. Birmingham City – OFF

Having passed the “key test” live on Sky Sports News yesterday morning (yeah, I was watching Sky Sports News on Christmas morning), this cancellation comes as somewhat of a surprise. The reason for this game being off is “due to the adverse weather conditions in Liverpool overnight the stadium is not in a fit condition to stage a Premier League football match”, as given on the Everton website.

If any more games are called off before the Fantasy Premier League deadline, I’ll update this article and announce it in the chatroom.

        had to be done..cahill was gunna be sent packing in a week or two and with the games so close chances are he will be rested for at least 1 with the asia cup coming up.
        dempseys fixtures are all strong except tottenham away and if they do score its likely to be through him. also he features in the double header GW24

      Depends how they rotate with your other goalie, but I vote Gordon. Sunderland are very solid at home.

        Need to play of em them today.

        Id be left with Foster/ Robinson until week 27 which isnt the best.
        I reckon gordon is the safer choice but if I go for him it means benching Foster for the next 5-6 weeks

        And i hate leaving a bir defender on the bench.

      Don't like the Blackburn defence without Jones and possibly Samba - and Big Sam telling them how to hoof the ball away.

      I'd say Gordon, but he leaves you with a difficult fixture today.
