Just a quick note to remind Members that they can take advantage of the Beta site and get a view on the player and team statistics from all today’s games. The Gameweek stats have now been updated, with those from the Villa vs Spurs clash to come later.

There’s some significant stats on show already – check out Wayne Rooney’s performance in United’s win over Sunderland under “Distribution and Influence” and, once again, Aleksandar Kolarov’s attacking contribution to City’s win under “Goal Threat”, for starters.

  Disappointed with that. Was hoping for 1/2. Think Berbatov and Anderson were defo worthy of the most though. And Rafael was solid yet again. Looking a very good FF prospect now Rafael is. Got Johnson and Baines who have some good fixtures coming up but after the West Ham game I think i'll swap Baines to Rafael long term.

      All that never got the lolz it deserved. Comparing Rooney to Messi after a few goals vs Portsmouth and Hull, absolutely scandalous.

        It was mayhem here last year if you said anything along the lines of "rooney is overated" and is no where near as good as villa, messi etc.

        Facts are still that Rooney has only had one really classy season and not that much more. He has what it takes but needs to do what he did last season one or two seasons more to be a true world class player for me.

        I still stand by the "we should have sold him" when he wanted to go and got an over the top fee.

      Yep although have to say I don't know if the 'other emergency captain' rule only considers the two that tie under the first strategy or starts from the top again. In you case it doesn't matter as still end up with Nasri either way.

Too bad I didn't gamble on VDV for Cahill but had already taken an 8-pt hit (to bring Robbo & Foley (for Hahnemann & Jones, epic fail)). On 43 with (C) going to Carroll.

      Yeah maybe, but I've had a good run so far with Nasri, just feel that with such good fixtures coming up for Liverpool, and Chelsea (and Spurs in the short term) I'd be better off with something like VDV and Gerrard compared to Nasri and Fabregas.

IMO Bale is a bad choice for his price in FPL. Much better options exist for much cheaper price. Etherington, N'zogbia, Brunt, etc.
