There’s two tasty fixtures on the bill today, as the Dugout Discussion opens for the second installment of Gameweek two. We start at the Britannia Stadium as Stoke City host Arsenal, and the team news is in…

Stoke XI: Begovic, Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Wilson, Pennant, Cameron, Whelan, Kightly, Walters, Crouch.

Arsenal XI: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Diaby, Arteta, Podolski, Cazorla, Gervinho, Giroud.

Having been cleared to play, new signing Geoff Cameron makes his Potters debut in midfield. The visitors are without Wojciech Szczesnydue to a rib injury, so Vito Mannone is between the sticks. There’s a first league start for Olivier Giroud, with Theo Walcott the player making way.

Following that game we move to Anfield, where bottom of the league Liverpool welcome the visit of the Premier League champions Manchester City.

    unbelievable !

    why do we even have H2H's? they're so unfair. the game itself is based so much on luck, to get more luck involved through head to heads is just annoying and ridiculous.

    What are people doing with Torres? I've got Torres, Tevez and Graham. Thinking of Torres to RVP but now Torres has hit a bit of form, tempted to ride out GW3 and keep him.

      I've gone RVP, Tevez & Graham ... but I'm beginning to think that Torres, Tevez & Graham is a very tidy alternative. Strengthens the team elsewhere and still have captain options with Tevez & Hazard.

      Same problem here.

      If feel like keeping Nando now but common sense says trade him for RVP and get Hazard in GW4. RVP going to £13.1m tonight too.

      At the moment I'm edging toward doing Taarabt to Kagawa, plying Demel as a 4th defender and benching Nabdo next week.

      Adebayor - Norwich Home, Reading Away - I imagine AVB will go Ade, VDV and Siggy next game - Norwich Defense looks horrible - Ade on PKS. Thats my option - Wigan aren't a pushover team and United schedule hardens up after these two - with Rooney out - Kagawa should be safe for now so

    Just noticed on the FPL website it says today's points are provisional and within the last hour of the final game all assists will be double checked, so we could still see Tevez's assist being taken off of him!

      Still loving the Petric/Lambert rotation.

      I'm currently still clinging onto my tactic of plonking them in, leaving them there, and haing 13.5 million allocated to the third slot to shuffle between the big captaincy options as and when they hit fixtures/the starting 11.

      Rangel is probably your best bet, Jags is actually getting involved in goals though. Can't go wrogn with either.

      If you're planning on benching your Chelsea-midfielder no matter what, and you have a free transfer, you might as well get Hazard in now for Lampard and hope to catch one or two price rices.
