With so many new statistics available in our Members section this season, the ability to compare players’ performances from last time round becomes handier than ever. Ahead of Norwich’s home clash against West Ham this weekend, we cast an eye on the Canaries midfield and, bypassing their top scoring Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player Robert Snodgrass, delve deeper into the displays of Anthony Pilkington instead:

Pilkington was a frustrating pick last season. Too often susceptible to Paul Lambert’s rotation policy at Carrow Road, the left winger started just 23 games and racked up a total of 1975 minutes but still managed to find the net on eight occasions. This time round, Chris Hughton has installed him as a key figure in the Norwich starting XI, with Pilkington playing every minutes of the club’s three matches so far – while he’s yet to find the net, Pilkington has provided an assist and, as the figures suggest, his potential for attacking returns has definitely taken a turn for the better.

        I usually go heavy on def in the start of the season because of many clean sheets. But now I am risking not having RVP in the team.

      Don't make 2 defensive transfers for a hit. If it is free and you are happy with the rest of your team then go for it

        Normally I wouldn't and would have just replaced the keeper. But Man Utd playing wigan and probably a sure clean sheet. Rafael has attacking threat too. Cole most likely not gonna play.That's why considering if i should do it too.

        OR

        Just play Vorm in goal and do Cole to Rafael

          I've a weak defence based on rotation and have been lucky so far. Ploughed all my money into a strong forward line and one big mid i can rotate around Kagawa, hazard, caz and bale. Team linked with Kagawa to caz the probable transfer

    Not too good news from the Man Utd website:

    United hit by triple blow
    Manchester United could be without Robin van Persie, Shinji Kagawa and Patrice Evra for their Barclays Premier League game against Wigan at Old Trafford on Saturday. Van Persie was taken off with a thigh problem during Holland’s win over Hungary on Tuesday while Kagawa sat out Japan’s game with Iraq with a back strain. And left back Evra was so poor in France’s World Cup qualifying win over Belarus that he may be rested ahead of next Wednesday’s Champions League opener at home to Galatasaray. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson will assess Van Persie and Kagawa at training on Thursday, but Kagawa is almost certainly out after saying on Wednesday he was still in pain. If Evra is rested, it would mean a first start for new left back Alexander Buttner.

      That;s just a report of the Daily Mail article - the Mail, along with the Mirror, remain the only sources currently stating RVP as a doubt. Everyone else is showing caution. We'll know for sure tomorrow.

        Haha I meant the bench etc.
        Decided to keep ade and get santi captain rather than rvp & a 5.4 mid for a points hit. Rvp will probably take ades spot week after next if he keeps at it
