Arsenal’s battling performance at the Etithad and a dramatic second-half turnaround at the Lane bring Gameweek 5 to a close. Our members can now let the dust settle on their Fantasy scores before gorging on all the stats from all the weekend’s matches, or just read on for the numbers that piqued our interest…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Just so you guys know i'm going to work on doing Tevez --> Aguero with my WC this week. I just think hes the most nailed on striker for them (as good as youre going to get) and if and when man city score as many goals as their capable, if you have one of their strikers and theyre not playing... youre going to regret it

Main reason I like Aguero is he's become a massive differential wheras Tevez is owned by 50%

I think you forgot who was the, "most nailed on striker" before Kun came around. I would go as far to say there is no such thing as a, "most nailed on striker" in a team like this anymore.

        Yes, yes, yes.

Tevez is easily as first-place as Kun, but they'll both be rested from time to time. I'd imagine they even out in the long haul (for time played).

Kun being #1 is one of those urban myths that most believe in ... for no real good reason.

£39 million pounds, their top goal scorer last year, the saviour of their season and tbh their best striker. I think he'll play the most games out of all 4.

            Blah-blah-blah.

You quote stats like you don't know what happened with Tevez last year. The year previous, Tevez was untouchable as City's best player. He was also instrumental on his return to the squad last year. Tevez is better than Kun because he can come deep for the ball and contribute in other ways Kun can't - including scoring away from home.

Tevez, Johnson, Dyer, Torres, Hazard, Guthrie, Boyce

Nolan, Sterling or Morrison? Need a cheap replacement for Hazard so I can upgrade Cuellar to Baines. Both are free transfers.

Also, why are people getting rid of Tevez? His fixtures are amazing and he was clearly just rested today. He's been City's best striker so far this season easily and he's a proven EPL scorer.

Because he and Tottenham as a whole looked like shaite, and those in the same category looke far better value, even with those fixtures. To be fair he wasnt that good against Reading where he got a lucky goal and lucky 3bps. Didnt have a chance to watch todays game, so i cant say how he was there, but yeah everybody knows hes explosive.

It is, but form is temporary and when you have Caz/Hazard etc that were producing somebody had to go. AVB is probably a quality manager, but he seems a lot less attack minded than say Harry was, which could be bad for Bale FPL-wise. Also injuries are affecting things, i mean he might have stayed the entire game at LB if they looked to cruise to an easy win today.

Ah I dunno about that, that's very harsh. No doubt he's over hyped because he's British, but he is a good player. Certainly the only player out of a Tottenham midfield with good fixtures worth looking at. Do you just see him as too much of a defensive liability?

I see him as a solid player. I think Dempsey is nearly twice the player he is, though ... but I wouldn't want Deuce playing fullback, either.

Otherwise, he had two good games against a past-it Maicon.

Having said all that, his fantasy points have been absurdly lucky the last two weeks. 6 bonus points with only 1 soft goal and 45 minutes at left back? I think in keeping him, his owners have been as lucky as good.

My point is that Chelsea arent defending well this year even though they have 4 clean sheets in the league, they very well could have been left with 1, and Arsenal have been attacking well and are certainly gaining confidence. I`d be very surprised if that game turns out to be a low scoring one.
