Better late then never. In truth, there’s nothing comfortable about this one. We had some nightmarish technical issues that had me tearing at my receding hairline tonight but, we got it done. Just.

The route of the problem was a change of scenery, as Granville and I resorted to staying on home territory to record this latest episode. There was a chance it would end in tears; it almost did.

It is, at least, a bumper episode, with just over 45 minutes of myself and Granville grumbling amidst the regulars on Wednesday evening. With his three point lead at the top of our mini-league, the fact is I couldn’t bear to face my Mancunian rival to discuss the merits of an early wildcards versus points hits, lament the demise of Carlos Tevez and chat about Granville’s night attire.

Grab this online experiment here, or stream using the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Been doing my head in all week what to do with my two freebies.

I could sell Tev and Graham for Ba and Defoe with zilch left, ignoring Berba for a couple of weeks. However, I'm thinking of selling Tevez for Suarez and keeping Graham (benching this week) despite the inevitable drop for his next three games and keeping the extra free transfer next week. Sure the money would be good and I know I've over thought this but it could work.. He says, nervously.

Rangel to Davies and upgrade Graham is the best way to fix your problems with the money you have imo. Seriously think it would be a great way to spend your 2FT 🙂

aye but the swans have not scored in a couple of games now and Stoke at home is never an easy game, i will pick last minute but am leaning toward Begovic.

with my luck which ever way i go the other will keep a clean sheet!

Same for me. I'm playing Begovic.
I opted for that pair due to their strong home form and ropey away form (defensively).
Saying that, I have a feeling both will concede.

Tyson won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout, 12 of them in the first round. I might ask him about that and if that because he was so confident in his offensive power or if it was more because he was impatient/unwilling to be more circumspect and defensive in his boxing style.

Clicked the button and i must admit it feels good. Baines to Williams with my extra funds. I now have the 3 everton giants like i mentioned. I put the final argument like this. In my theoretical wildcard team this week I would have Baines and Fellaini, so having Pienarr as well isn't so out there since hes pretty cheap at 6.7 million and I can just bench him next week if all doesn't go to plan and not feel too bad about it.

I believe in 3 at the back. So I would start Dyer. But I would start Cuellar ahead of Demel.

theres the 50% chance of cuellar not playing so demel could be the better option

Cuellar will either start or not play at all. Sunderland has a better clean sheet chance, imo. So I would start Cuellar and auto-sub Demel if Cuellar doesn't play.

Fair concern. Dyer edges it for me because best case for Demel is 6. Dyer has higher upside. But I would bet 1 or 2 for each, so I don't see much in it.

It's so hard to choose between Fellaini and Pienaar, Had Pienaar before my WC and got Fellaini in and want to keep him for a bit to see how he gets on...but I also think Pienaar is excellent value. One of them will have to go some time soon, I might just keep them for 1/2 games and decide...But having them both might really end up being a terrible move. For some reason I still favour Pienaar in my head because Fellaini's only started to be an attacking mid lately...and the fact that he's better value.

I wouldnt be 100% about Jelavic starting. Just back from injury plus Everton looked so good last week its harsh to drop a player. Opposition also weak so a good time to ease him in from the bench imo

Think I like 1 out of those choices, although I'm not against a 4-point hit to get Baines in. Not tempted by Zab or Ivan to Baines? If you can get through this stretch without Cuellar (who might even play on the weekend), I don't see better value at his price.

perhaps cuellar > 4M def. free up some monies, then go zab > baines. i value baines more than pienaar/ fellaini. he already equalled hi assist last season, so last season stat no longer valid! 🙂

to be fair he never said his players were gonna start doing it, just players in general - the headline just makes a wild assumption.

It does seem a bit unfair that players like Aguero seem to get fouled a lot in the box but because of his strength he always trys to stay up and get a shot away and because he hasn't gone down like some players would, doesnt get a penalty

Yeah, looks like he didn't say Liverpool players, but players in general. Had he said Liverpool players then an FA charge should surely be heading his way. I don't quite get his reasoning though, players won't start diving and exaggerating to get penalties/free kicks/card for opponents, they have been doing it for years and they do it because it works. For Rogers to suggest that Liverpool players don't/haven't already done it is disingenuous in the extreme. For the record there was nowt wrong with Evans' challenge against Suarez.

have this gut feeling that there will be lotsa goals from the match, and baines will surely involve.
