its also worth noting that the top scoring players of each gameweek have been (in order): ivan, rangel, tevez/rvp, buttner, cashley, suarez, kolorov
especially with budget strikers performing it could be worth it to load up and play 4 or 5 big defenders at the back. at least for now they are proving much better value. just compare those players to rvp in terms of value! and right now 4 defenders have as many or more points than rvp for half the cost +/- 1milOpen Controls
Problem is it's harder to call which defender will perform.
Open Controlsno, just look at the range of defenders involved. buttner will neve be top points scorer again. him and kolarov are huge rotation risks. it's all very well holding out for a large haul, but the likes of Tevez / RVP / Mata / Santi are going to chip in with 6-12 points scorers on a very regular basis.
defenders... take goals when they come as a bonus, consider CS likelihood, but don't rely on them to generate returns!!Open Controls
