Just came back from an incredible 5-a-side game. Went from the depths of humiliation to the glory of victory!

I was playing CAM as usual. 60 minute game. We played an absolutely horrific first 35 minutes or so. We just couldn't pass, couldn't get started. Every pass seemed to be going straight to an opponent. No chemistry. My touch was heavy and I couldn't seem to find any space. Then I went in goal and it got worse, they kept coming through for one on ones and by the time I left goal it was 11-6 to them.

It then got EVEN WORSE. Straight after coming out of goal, I was refreshed and full of energy and yelling at everyone to wake up and destroy the opposition. Then I scored an own goal when someone crossed against me at point blank range.

I then basically thought, feck this, nothing to lose I'm going to go Rambo. 1000% effort. Just ran all over the place and started passing really fast and the whole team raised their game and played at a much faster pace. All of a sudden it was a completely different game, there was space everywhere, I was pinging passes around like a really crap version of Paul Scholes, and we were scoring goals left right and centre.

As always once the scores started getting close it became much harder to score and we were starting to run out of juice. Plus any moment now we would be out of time.

We got back to 15-16 down with 2 minutes to go... our winger shot down the right flank, then cut the ball back for me in a Gerrard crossing position. I then looked up and saw someone on the edge of the area nearer to the far post. Just swung my leg at it and curled a cross in... and watched in disbelief as he scored a frigging BICYCLE KICK TO EQUALIZE!!!!

You rarely score from crosses in our 5 a side games, this was a BICYCLE KICK!!!!

Then straight from the kickoff they lost the ball, it was worked back to me and I just pinged it straight down the middle to our striker on the edge of the box. One touch control, bang, back of the net.

Whistle blew immediately after the kicked off. We won.

Think I am abandoning project Kolarov. Think I need to get a Stoke defender in as a matter of urgency. So I will probably just get Wilson instead. Though I can't help but be drawn to HUTH
