      west ham fan here, i am under the impression he plays when fit. he was recovering from illness against reading. we have a very thin squad at the moment as it is, and collins is suspended this GW.

    Can't lose Michu, too much value tied up there. Could drop Bale for a week, but I'd just want him back next week. Easiest swap is Enrique -> anyone. Got £5.3m in the bank, so can play around.

    Got Benteke in as a punt as I'm WCing early, bit of a fail there. Might actually drop Bale for the week and bring him in next time on the WC. Basically I'm clueless at the moment. Any suggestions?

      I have a very similar team and already did Bale to Walcott--this was for money reasons going into the wc. Now I have Enrique to worry about, and I am waiting and hoping that he does not go down more than 0.1 (which I can afford in terms of selling value) before the next deadline. I am plannig to play Nelsen-Clyne-Baines so I can avoid a hit. But if any of Baines, Shorey, or Enrique threatens to go down enough to affect my selling value I will take a hit.

        Yeah, if I didnt have Cazorla, then Bale -> Walcott would be a no brainer. But raising money for the WC is a pretty good idea, Walcott will zip up. And I intend on having both for the DGW. Cheers.

      I'd avoid the hits and hold out until the wildcard. As you've held Baines this long I wouldn't drop him ow ahead of some reasonable fixtures and Sterling is sound this week. Bale to Caz or Walcott makes sense, or Michu to Fellaini ( depending on what sort of losses you'll incur)

        He will need time to integrate, i dont think benietez will immediately drop torres. He will play torres and if hes not doing well he will Sub Ba in until he is comformtable he will probably get 20minutes at the start. Thats what i think anyhow.

    Cazorla (Always plays well away and playing southampton)
    Michu (Playing disastrous Villa but could be injured and I don't want a 1 point cameo)
    Hazard (QPR at home and might be in the limelight because Mata could be rested)
    Ba (Always reliable to get returns)
    Lambert (Good differential and arsenal don't have the best defense record lately)
    Azpilicueta (Very good differential, attacking threat against QPR and very possible clean sheet)
    Suarez (Could get a blank and a yellow card or a freakin hatrick)

          That's why RVP is worth his ludicrously big price. In 16 out of 20 gameweeks he's got at least a goal or an assist (often more). Being able to bank on that as your captain every week is easily worth the price.

    Mata has started, and played at least 60 minutes in every one of Chelsea's last 9 games.

    That's 9 games in 30 days.

          I think it would be foolish of Rafa to play Mata against QPR. The threat of injury through fatigue over a long season just isn't worth it. If he does get injured he will only have himself to blame.

    Morning lads, just devised a pretty good WC team, what do yous think. Obviously price rises might force me to change Jones --> Pog. Would play 3-5-2 and bench Jones for every bad fixture. Defenders rotate okay(ish). Alternatively I can go DDG + Luiz as oppose to Cech + Rafael.

    Cech - Davis

    Rafael - Nastasic - Davies - Demel - Wilkinson (when he returns)

    Michu - Mata - Bale - Walcott - Fellaini

    RVP - Ba - Jones

          I would've have thought SUN was so bad. I wouldn't have the balls myself, but Dempsey could be a nice option. All the players you suggest have their merits, or perhaps take on the crumbling Villa defence with a Swan, De Guzman looks good.

    Come on lads... assuming Mata isn't enough 'coverage' for Chelsea against QPR, would you rather have Torres or Hazard?

        When Rooney got injured I broke it up to get Bale in (for his hat-trick), then brought in Mata for Suarez which wasn't the greatest move, although should work out well.

        Could bring Suarez back in for Tevez this week, but just not sure.

      Not sure, but would be a nice punt that you can correct with your Jan WC. Only problem is if you have Foster, he has 3 great fixtures so not sure when I'd play Turnbull.

      Def seems solid besides Enrique possible injury.

      Che defenders look good so maybe Azpi is worth a punt despite rotation threat which hangs over the entire team.

    and then Jose Enrique tore his hamstring which surely means he's out for next match right?
