      It's not hard at all. Just take a look at his goals and assists stats in the last 11 gameweeks. Only one assist. No goals or clean sheets were recorded during this period. That will be enough to convince you to throw him out right away with that ridiculous price tag.

        problem is he is creating so many chances, everytime I see him he looks like he will assist or score. He should have had an assist v w ham which was ruled out incorrectly and for poor finishing today should have had at least an assist.

          Well, in my opinion, it's a sell for me. 7.5m is too much to be waiting for patience to be rewarded for 11 gameweeks. That's extra 1m could of been used as a forward/midfield upgrade nicely.

        As above, I don't see why getting rid now makes sense. I don't actually see why getting rid at all makes sense.

        His lack of attacking returns and Everton's lack of clean sheets are two statistical anomalies coinciding.

        The question you have to ask is whether it will continue for another 18 games. If you aren't confident the answer is yes, Baines is worth the £.

      Today was a bit of red herring - he didn't get forward as much but then he wouldn't do up against Chelsea. Excellent as always in his distribution and I genuinely thought he was one of the best players on the pitch. EFC did start to pump it long a bit too much in the second half

      Could of easily had a couple assists and he still took the odd FK and corner. For a team flying high though the CS issue is really annoying. That could curtail their CL ambitions

          Maybe in the odd game but I don't think it's an option FT when you've got Pie there and Mirallas as well to come back in.

          The thing is with Bale is that with that pace and explosiveness he was always going to end up playing further forward. I don't think that's the case with Leighton.

          I reckon Moyes would have tried playing him as a LW and I don't think he has?

      May I recommend Bale to Fellaini? I brought in Walcott just before his hat trick and I don't expect him to explode like he did again. Maybe one assist or a goal looks likely too. Fellaini is the one YOU should be watching out.
