→ The 2014/15 season was Sergio Aguero's best ever for Fantasy returns. Seven of his goals/assists and 36 of his FPL points came in two meetings with which club that year? Scout Betting

With a goal from reliable Robin, an assist from Juan Mata and a clean sheet from Sunderland, we took Paddy Power for three crisp tenners last week as our weekly treble bet came in. Back in profit, can we maintain momentum with this week’s markets?

Determined to claw back our winnings, Paddy are dangling a very tempting proposition our way to open things up. With 13 goals to his name, Michu has been a sensation and, with Stoke at the Liberty this weekend, the Spaniard will be looking to add to their impressive first season tally. He’s gone three starts without a strike, while the Swans have conceded in their last three home matches. Even so, odds of 5/1 on a Michu goal with a Swansea clean sheet against the Potters look tasty and we’re willing to go gung-ho and throw no less than £4 the way of Paddy on this market.

Steven Gerrard found a place in our Scout Picks last night with Luis Suarez missing out. While Suarez seems to have hoodoo over the Canaries, we’re still backing Gerrard to get amongst the points have bagged returns in seven consecutive starts. Chris Hughton’s side have conceded in their last five away trips and we’re backing a home win with the skipper again getting in on the act. Paddy are dangling 4/1 on a Gerrard goal with a Liverpool clean sheet against Norwich and we’re more than happy to take them up on that for £2 of our money.

The final single player market involves City’s clash with an out-of-sorts Fulham. Although Edin Dzeko makes way for Sergio Aguero in our Scout Picks this week, the Bosnian has four goals in his last three league outings and looks primed to punish the Cottagers in today’s clash. Paddy are clearly backing City here, with just 2/1 on offer for a Dzeko goal with a City clean sheet. Nonetheless, we’ll throw them another £3 of our stake for this one.

That leaves just a solitary shekel for our treble market and, having triumphed last week, we’re perhaps hedging our bets somewhat this time around. A Van Persie goal against Spurs, together with a David Silva assist against Fulham and a Liverpool clean sheet is being offered at 10/1 by our bookmaker friends.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

I'd say no. But I'm riding this same transfer myself. In the Sunderland DGW, everyone went Sess, though Adam Johnson did so well. In the Chelsea DGW, everyone went Mata, but Hazard outscored him. In this DGW, everyone's going Walcott, guess Santi will outscore him? 😀

Not for me if you aren't wildcarding later. You will probably not want both for later and will want Mata back for Reading. So that is 8 points lost in transfers.

      My view is no

Mata has a higher chance of scoring more points in the first game so the 4 point deficit could increase before Cazorla plays the hammers plus you would want Mata back next week. For free I'd do it.

Need some advice on who to captain....
    Walcott or Cazorla?
I know everyone will be captaining Walcott in my mini league and only a few will have Caz even in their team, so... should I play along and get a similar score to the rest with Wally or should I go for broke and hope that cazorla does something special?!

well if your aim is the mini league then go for broke and do the different. You loss, you loss, it will be decided this week.

But if your aim is to keep up the overall position and then make small gains in subtle changes then take the much traveled route...

Last week the obvious choices were chelsea players and in em Mata and Ba, and it did not go otherwise....except Hazard did well too.....Guys who choose hazard over mata did not stand very far apart...

Do I need to make a transfer this week? Ideally looking to avoid then have 2 next week to assess Ba rotation and maybe bring Fellaini in. 0.1m in the bank. Subs ok? -

    Begovic (Cerny)

    Luiz - Gibbs - Demel

    Walcott (c) - Bale - Mata - Michu (Puncheon)

RVP (vc) - Suarez - Ba

    Result of my poll for

    Mata :arrow:: Santi (-pts)

    Yesterday = 8 nos
    Today Dz = 10 Nos

So that's 18 resounding Nos and I'm still thinking yes. 😆

These punts are hurting my rank 😕

I need to calm down and maybe sell Ba, but reading next week?!

Thanks for the input gentlemen 🙂

Rafa will play ba against arsenal without doubt. Wouldn't be worth the risk.

Last decision to finalise my WC:

Podolski (sick on Friday, Chelsea game on Sunday, Double)
    Or
    Džeko (home to Fulham)

Rest of the team is fairly fixed:
    Begovic, Jääskeläinen
    Gibbs, Zabaleta, Davies, Demel, Harte
    Walcott, Mata, Fellaini, Michu, Puncheon
    RVP, Suárez, X

    Any help most welcome.
