Gareth Bale tops the ICT Index for Gameweek 25, with a change in position significantly boosting the Welshman’s stats in Tottenham’s trip to West Brom. Unsurprisingly, Moussa Sissoko and Marouane Fellaini both rank in our top five after bagging a brace apiece at the weekend, while Jay Rodriguez and Adel Taarabt also feature highly for their respective displays for Southampton and QPR last Saturday:

        Just down grade Van Persie to Rooney and upgrade Michu to Gerrard (Michu will be rested for the Cup Final) ..... and my last piece of terrible advice is play Bunn at home to Fulham 🙂

    Agreed that GJ is probably top defender pick, but is it madness to be looking at Rangel over JE if the money saved brings me a heavy attacker? Have seen no mention of him, but the stats tables like his threat...

    I'm thinking that with so many enticing gw26 fixtures for big attackers, defenders might be the way to stand out this DGW.

      Many have Davies who has been the cut price way into Swansea defence...I would say that's why Rangel is barely getting a mention. But he does have a threat going forward so it's not a bad punt. The problem for me is the blank afterwards. You might leave yourself short if your other defenders aren't 100% nailed on or rotation risks.

    Can I just clarify to anyone who read my Sturridge post, It was an observation, no logical conclusion was drawn, purely a fact. He hasn't scored over 6 fpl points so far this season....that is of course anecdotal seeing as he has only appeared in 11 games

    91 points behind in my ML, is it game over? I have 4 DGW players and my rival only has one or two and he has about three injuries in his 15, this is the only weakness he has.

      You need to beat him by 7ish points a game, very doable that. My rival in my mini league closed over a 150 point gap in about 7-8 gameweeks (he was top 20 in the world for the month of December and I had a shocking few weeks but stil). You need to ensure you have plenty of differentials on him

      I think Captain choice gets a lot more important. Was tempted with Fellaini as captain last week but I knew first in my mini league would captain RVP so bottled it to stay in touch. If I had went for Fellaini would have closed the gap.

      My best DGW ever was when i tripled on Spurs defence whilst everyone had the holy trinity of Ade, Bale and Siggy.

      Two CS's and the only goals were scored by my full backs.

      I like the move and I did it last night (although I plan on getting Giroud in GW27 for the villa game and then getting back in Rooney in GW29 ......... ALTHOUGH WE DO GET 4 WEEKS TO ASSESS THE rOONEY SITUATION AND TO SEE HOW saf WILL ROTATE DURING THE cl GAMES 🙂 )

    My ideal DGW:

    Sturridge (c) hat-trick in both games, but only after the 60min mark in the Swans match, by which time Davies will be replaced.
    GJ two clean sheets, two goals and two assists.

    Suarez to get a late red card in the first game. 🙂

        I had the cash for GJ, so I grabbed him. But if I had to put a fiver on it, I'd suggest Enrique might out-score him. Just a gut feeling.

        Suarez's potential is a touch dented but still big.

          A lot of people have merit in thinking the anti-RVP wagon. It looks decent on paper. I have a lot of value attached and can accomodate who i want otherwise but if you can't its a decent idea on paper.
