Gareth Bale tops the ICT Index for Gameweek 25, with a change in position significantly boosting the Welshman’s stats in Tottenham’s trip to West Brom. Unsurprisingly, Moussa Sissoko and Marouane Fellaini both rank in our top five after bagging a brace apiece at the weekend, while Jay Rodriguez and Adel Taarabt also feature highly for their respective displays for Southampton and QPR last Saturday:

    Bench: Steer/Puncheon/Harte/Bertrand

    1 FT left. Which would people advise?

    A) Rafael -> Enrique, meaning I might need a hit the next week
    B) Save the transfer, and do Michu -> Sissoko and Sturridge -> Cisse next week for free

          Cross that bridge when you come to it. I see your hesitation and it's valid but Liv fixtures are tasty. There defence is good and they could well keep two CS's. BUT... they may not and the transfer will be a waste. Go with your gut. I'm taking a hit next week as I see points on offer to cover the spread. 😉

            I think I am gonna stick with my 3 (Davies, Michu, Sturridge) at least until after the internationals as there are bound to be injuries.

            I was thinking about getting Gerrard in but that would mean I only have 1FT next week and I would like to have 2FT so I can sort out anything that needs sorting...

    The blank after the DGW is quite annoying. I would love to go mad and get in a player I always wanted: Pablo Hernandez, creates so many chances and is much more impressive than Michu when you watch them play!

      Okay ... back before GW19, I had just got off a flight and I came home, exhausted and decided to do my transfer as I was planning on sleeping until noon.

      I meant to take Cuellar out as he was playing Man City, but ended up taking Aaron Hughes out instead, who was at home to S'oton. I was pretty annoyed when I realised what I'd done - how could I be so foolish, even half asleep?

      Cuellar got a CS, assists and baps and Hughes got nothing 😀

    A few people have transferred out Aguero for Suarez or Sturridge - I did the former.

    I'd be interested in Southampton v City predictions - I fancy a low-scoring draw: 0-0/1-1

    City went to QPR and didn't score and Southampton have tightened up at home (Everton couldn't get past them for example).

    Thoughts?

      city are a strange team! they go 3/4 games where they keep clean sheets and only score 1/2 goals max a game and then they go 3/4 games where they score 3/4 goals a game, funny feeling it might have goals but its a gut feeling

    Out of curiously I had a brief search for Suarez's red cards. despite his reputation for controversy it appears to me that he has not received a single red card since 2010 when he deliberately handled the ball in the world cup. he just picks up lots of single yellows. averages about 1 every 4 games.

    Just for consideration if that's worrying you regarding the captaincy.

      Hernandez was pulling the strings before he got injured - he was the best player feeding Michu and had the odd goal in the locker too. The Swans look far more defensively-minded recently, even before Graham went. I'd take a punt on him.
